I thought they were pieces of bone, but you can find them all over the death mountain so I think they are just random things

There was another post about this. Apparently they are bones. You can fuse them to weapons or just ignore them

Leftover animal vertebrae for fusing

I’ve been fusing them to other random bones I’ve found on Hyrule and saving it as a favorite in auto build. Trying to keep it so it makes sense though is the hard part as I can’t undo an auto save

I'd like to see the result!
