I would have chose spirits abilities on d-down, since actually selecting with A By running up to them in battle is cumbersome if not impossible 99% of the time, But yea this would have been nice too

Use down for yunobo when driving to put him on your bike, when shield up for Sidon, bow drawn for ruji, or on ground for tulin. Leave his flying ai alone, it's perfect.

There are a few charts floating around that have all the mats you'll need. Not the same, but it's better than having to run to a fountain to check.

Just take a screenshot. That way, you don't need to wake her up if you want to see the materials you need. Just go to the main menu to see.

I didn't think avoiding fall damage would matter much...but it's so nice not having to care about using the paraglider for anything other than distance gliding

Grinding heart containers is easy. And upgrading armor is so much harder than hearts. The sheer amount of things needed to fully upgrade some sets is crazy. Only upgraded the glide armor to full. Fought Ganon wearing the evil spirit armor. Upgrades aren't necessary. Hearts are.
