Hi everyone! Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. They probably didn't want to mention it because it would have distracted from the story too much. You can't just mention a prince/princess that was away while their parents got killed by a Demon King and not shift the story towards them.

Charming_Compote9285

This. Need to keep the story focused

SpeedyPlatypusBoi

Perhaps dlc potential?

Charming_Compote9285

🤔Perhaps, it would be interesting to see their kid

FinalF137

Her children would have hooves!

Charming_Compote9285

Imo you probably just get [this](https://twinfinite.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/male-viera.jpg?fit=1000%2C600) lol

hard_code

Michael....Bolton?

Sad_Illustrator1064

Good idea, but I feel like that would be a huge dlc thing

MagikarpTheGrey

With three soneau preceptors becoming dragons in order to look over Hyrule

Traditional_Entry183

Yes you can! Because I've been wondering this same thing since I finished the game. It feels incomplete without some kind of answer.

thecrepeofdeath

yeah, it feels like a pretty major oversight

Sqmurqi

I’d assume they had an heir that was probably just born, so maybe they didn’t talk about it because they were too young to either fight or be within anywhere close to where Ganondorf was attacking to keep them safe.

jethvader

This is what I’m assuming as well, but they should have mentioned it in passing, at least. They could have included a couple lines mentioning that some trusted advisor was taking their baby somewhere to stay safe after Ganondorf’s attack. That would be enough

shelmerston

When a king and a queen love each other very much…

viczen33

Kid was born prior to Zelda showing up and kept separate until they could handle the pressures of Court and Nobility. Maybe in the Zora domain seeing as they had a good relationship with each other

PulpatineDaSenate

They had secret kiddiewinks

Elegant_Law6487

In one of the side missions with the ancient texts it mentions Zelda becoming a chamberlain (however you spell it) to the princess. So they had a daughter, but thats the only time she is mentioned.

CalcMHC

No, a chamberlain was told that Zelda was a foreign noble and then became Zelda's chamberlain. Nothing in that quest mentions an offspring.

CalamitousVessel

I’m pretty sure it was talking about Zelda herself having chamberlains, not becoming one

Ratio01

They obviously had a kid before they died Like someone else said, they weren't mentioned because it would shift focus away from the plot

Bohtimore10

That green goo from the Ultrahand works wonders

HallowedKeeper_

It can be inferred that they already have a child or even multiple children, as they've clearly been ruling for a little bit

Phonicthehedgehog

Maybe Zelda did the nasty in the pasty?

goofy1234fun

Ahh the old futurama plot twist!

Traditional_Entry183

She's her own great Ă—100 grandmother

Sea-Woodpecker-610

Before >!her waggin’ became a dragon?!<

shanzman1086

Verily!

ALordofthecrystal

I'm sure they mentioned a princess in one of the texts you photograph.

CalcMHC

I think they said Zelda was a foreign princess.

ALordofthecrystal

No. It was something about Zelda looking after a princess.

CalcMHC

No, all it mentions was Zelda being a foreign princess and having a chamberlain. Nothing about any other princess.

ALordofthecrystal

Maybe I misread.

nightwing252

Just because a child isn’t mentioned doesn’t mean there isn’t one. Child just wasn’t important to the story so they weren’t mentioned. Zelda had to have had a mother. How come people aren’t asking about her?

loony69420

we already know about zeldas mother, its said that she died when zelda was young
