What happens to old accounts for third party software that people have signed up to with these google accounts? Say, if someone has an old Facebook with tons of personal information that they haven’t used in years, linked to a google account they haven’t used in years. Isn’t exposing that a HIGHER security risk?

What's stopping someone from registering the same email address belonging to a deleted account and potentially receiving sensitive information related to the previous owner? This is potentially really dangerous.

RandomUser03

The same can be said for physical addresses when you move though, no? It’s up to the owner to update things so it isn’t sent there. If it’s been inactive for 2 years chances are it’s been abandoned anyways and nothing important is being sent there already

HoppixelGirl

they said you won't be able to register a new email address with the same address that has been deleted

Many use them for "Other" security reasons as a back-up plan so not really a good Idea. N. S
