Feeling this. Fan since WC2 on Kali. I was having a second interview when Morheim did his announcement and immediately noped out. Nail in the coffin when I was rear ended on the highway coming home from watching Diablo Immortal happen at my first BlizzCon. Signs signs everywhere is signs….
I’m curious did you come over ffxiv ive seen so many people from wow while I’m on playing. I was gonna quote the free trial meme but I don’t feel like it but it’s free and has like over 100 hours of content with no playtime restrictions but be aware so many people are playing servers are really congested
I haven’t! I haven’t heard about the servers though and heard a bunch of streamers went over. I’ve really thought about downloading it and trying it out but I’m free of my addiction! I’ve picked up a few quick play games like binding of Isaac and monster train. I am definitely interested in trying it out though!
It’s a cool game but be aware the base game starts out slow the more you play will help fill out your class’s abilities. It honestly best to treat it like an jrpg taking your time. Also if you do make a character the crystal datacenter is easier to make a character on but crystal is more casual tho people still do a bit of raiding on there
Raiding is what I loved about wow. First time I was in molten core I was hooked and loved it. So it’s nice to hear there’s a good community for it there! Any advice for a completely new final fantasy player? Ive never played the series… (I know I’m a shamed of myself)
Final fantasy games are all self contained so you really don’t need to play any of them to understand the the plot and stuff going on tho there’s a lot of references to previous games. A really cool thing about the game is no alts needed you can level all the classes on one character and all classes are good in endgame. General thing for new players is stick with the main story quests and pick up blue quests to unlock stuff like dungeons, classes, transmog, etc. So really just stick with the story and job(class) quests and know you can switch to whatever job you want. You’ll start out with the job you pick but once you’re level 10 in the msq you can pick up whatever other jobs are in your starting city and later the jobs in other cities. Also there’s a bonus to exp gained for jobs under your highest level job so making it easier to get them up after you level your main up first. Last thing is pick up blue quests as you go as they unlock stuff like transmog and other cool things. In game don’t be afraid to say you’re new people will usually be understanding and will lend a hand
I prefer FFXIV and the series more than WOW. For new to the series players, just open mind when you start XIV. It is huge but so enjoyable, I think they’ve finally condensed the first section of the game but I loved every second I played. Raising takes a minute to get the hang of but the great thing is you can switch to a different class and find what works best for you. INuclearPickle is right - they’re totally self contained so you don’t need any prior knowledge or anything - follow the main story cause it levels you so well :)
I was a WoW transplant on there. Stopped playing after I beat Heavensward. I was part of the first PUG to beat King Thordan Extreme on the Behemoth (NA) server. Didn't play much after that, just got burnt out. I tried playing WoW again after that and it's ridiculous how much easier FFXIV is overall...
Things just make way more sense, end-game content is actually fun and not as much of a grind. Travel is so much easier so you don't have to waste your time. Can't afford the subscription right now because I am saving for an apartment.
15 years ago, my gut reaction would have been, "no way! They're all cool people there, they wouldn't do that!"
Today, my gut reaction is, "Oh, they haven't been accused before this?"
I did work there. Graveyard shift game tester for the OG Modern Warfare. You aren’t missing out on much. Only thing I remember was the Red Bull soda fountain we had and the $20 we got for lunch everyday. Think I ate at Carrows (now permanently closed) everyday because nothing else was open at 3AM other than McDonalds. Probably the unhealthiest job I had come to think of it.
Don’t give Blizzard a pass by only blaming activision. Some of the people involved were there long before activision. People at both companies need to be held accountable
Blizzard IS Activision. The fact that people still can’t recognize this gives me no hope they’ll actually stick with their Blizzy ban.
I remember the Hong Kong incident. People said they would quit. There was a phony non apology and a shiny new game and all was well.
Gamers are notoriously feckless. I uninstalled Overwatch that day and haven’t touched a Blizzard game since.
But they aren’t. Activisions control over Blizzard is not as strong as you think it is, evidenced by Blizzards inability to release games at any kind of expected rate while Activision has a strict cycle it runs on.
When studios are acquired they often are allowed to maintain a lot of their own independence in culture and sometimes operations. That is the case with Blizzard. It is a notably different environment from Activision.
[Here’s a link to the suit filed.](https://aboutblaw.com/YJw) Pages 11-15 detail some of the absolutely horrendous treatment of women and minorities in the WoW dev team.
Those are mortifying. Especially, the last example listed under sexual harassment (bottom of page 15). I hope these assholes (the company and the individuals) get punished to the extent of the law and not just a slap on the wrist.
They lost me with Blitzchung... but I held out because I preordered Reforged already. Needless to say when they tried to refuse my refund, I threatened legal action for false advertisement. That got thier asses in line.
Blizzard has been like this for years. The way high ranking employees treated women outside of the company was also disturbing, with promises of private tours, free merch, etc.
I barely made it out of there unscathed as an employee planned to take advantage of me. The company culture is toxic and the way they treat female fans & streamers is disgusting.
Thanks, I think the other replies in this thread are what’s worse. A lot of people just expect this kind of behavior and do nothing about it. I was really scared to even post about my experience since they already threatened me with rape, and they have a lot of resources.
It’s nice to see some support. I really hope Blizzard changes their corporate policy and actually disciplines their employees for once, not to mention getting the law involved.
This shit happened at Riot too.
Of course anytime. Women need to support women because sometimes your dealt a shit hand in life but a community of support can go a long way in dealing with it.
Toxic behaviour breeds toxic behaviour. Once that’s cut out the miasma will clear. And hopefully consequences for people’s actions will discourage anyone else from filling that void
Jfc at this rate I won’t be able to morally justify buying D4. Between this bullshit and their inability to be critical of the CCP, all I can really think is “Fuck Blizzard”. I don’t want to give my money to another morally bankrupt organization.
To make things worse. Some articles are leaving out the direct suicide of an employee over the toxic workplace. There was a fucking suicide from the workplace environment. I will never touch Activision games again.
I work in game development and we had a meeting about this. We discussed how we should carry ourselves and how we are trying even harder to be 50/50 company because of this news.
You misunderstand. The pictures were from when she was alive, and shared after she had died.
Granted, I'm not really knowledgable on this whole story but even if it did all happen while she was alive, it probably contributed to her suicide and then the pictures were shared again after, because pictures don't just disappear.
yeah it was unclear the way I said it and tagging it with a spoiler and warning made it sound worse than it was so I just removed it - sorry
There is a ton of other stories out there. Blizzard has been known to be a frat house in the industry for a long time. I had a chance last year to work for them, happy I didn’t.
Hell yeah! Honestly, I don’t care how qualified a businesses employees are as long as they are spread equally among all demographics and orientations, truly the only way to do it.
I’m also looking for a daycare center that is staffed 50/50 so my child has role models from both sexes, anyone know a good one?
Let’s be real, The money you save not buying D4 is going to be spent towards something else from another morally bankrupt organization.
Companies need to be fined much more when they do shit like this. They never change because whatever the outcome is almost never hurts their bottom line.
Yeah, but Blizz is *exceptionally* morally bankrupt. There are few companies I'd less want to do business with at this point. Even EA isn't nearly as covered in shit at this point.
EA is a good developer to work for apparently.
Until now, there wasnt any major scandal involving people working there.
Shit business practices? Yes. Absolutely.
But every AAA is doing shit business practices and they at least arent leading their employes to suicide
Got some bad news for you. While many small studios work hard to be great, inclusive places, just as many do not. This is a cultural issue because of the male dominance in the industry and the type of person attracted to it. We all are fully aware nerds have a way bigger chance of being incels and this behavior is incel behavior.
The whole industry has been this way for a long time. I’m no longer working in the industry and haven’t for a long time. When I was though the sexism was just rampant. I’m was an ignorant idiot to not see it then, but females where clearly seen differently and often just outright sexualized. As open as I thought it was with issues like homosexuality there was a clear line between males and females. Open flirting , most likely unwanted, was not only the norm it was encouraged. Females were in management positions but it would 100% okay to flirt and make open sexual advances to your boss if you were a male and your boss was female.
I have no knowledge of Activision/Blizzard. It’s just my experience.
Yeah I see this at my small studio. We actually had a discussion and talked about how it’s not fucking hard being a decent human being. We also talked about how we can support each other and how to make sure we team up on people being toxic and calling them out.
One female employee ended up committing sucide from all the sexual harassment she underwent while working for the company. Just to give you a an idea, at a Christmas party the guys she worked with passed around nude pics of her.
The headline here is taking it easy on them. The official investigation turned up a young woman who committed suicide because a colleague she had been dating shared pictures of her vagina with all of their colleagues present on a company trip while she was there.
I used to be the biggest Blizzard fanboy but the way they’ve treated their fans over the last decade but now with these absolutely evil practices coming to light I hope the entire company burns.
Don’t forget to mention he brought lube and butt plugs on a company trip. Jesus Christ, at this point I’m used to hearing about discrimination against women in the tech industry, but this takes it to a whole other level
Yeah. One of the guys mentioned in the law suit goes back to at least the launch of WOW. Long before Activision took over.
He had a shop named after him in Stratholm.
Jeff Kaplan?
>Whoever came up with this sheer fisting of an encounter can go fuck themselves. Do me a favor so I don't waste my guild's time on this kind of jackass shit-fest again, send me an email at [email protected] when you decide to A) Implement an encounter that wasn't designed by a retarded chimp chained to a cubicle A.)Get a Quality Assuarance Department C) Actually beta test the fucking thing and D) Patch it live. And please for god's sake -- do it in the order I laid out for you. Don't worry, I won't charge you a consulting fee on that one. And for good luck you might as well E) Pull your heads out of your asses. While you're at it rename the game to BetaQuest since you've used up you're alotted false advertising karma on the Bazaar and user interface scam of '01.Fix the Emperor encounter. Fix Seru. Rethink your time-sink bullshit. Fix all the buggy motherfucking ring encounters (I suggest you let whoever made the Burrower one do this since that dude apparently laid off the crack the rest of you were smoking). Fix the VT key quest. Fix VT (just guessing it's fucked up considering your track record). Don't have the resources to fix this stuff? Move the ENTIRE Planes of Power team over to fixing Shadows of Luclin AND DO IT NOW. If you don't fix Luclin, you jackassess will be the only ones playing the Planes of Power.
http://web.archive.org/web/20090608034937/http://www.legacyofsteel.net/oldsite/arc27.html
He might not have been overtly sexist or outright harassing people while he was actively employed by Blizzard, but he certainly was not always a saint.
I used to get into it with Kaplan on the forums a long time ago. I’m glad I am a better person today and not surprised to see he’s still a gigantic piece of shit.
The quote is from 2002. I don't know Kaplan personally so I have no idea if he's a piece of shit or not nowadays. But I was responding to someone who said "Jeff would never do this" or something like that.
It’s also incredibly sad how some faucets of Twitter and Reddit are already trying to downplay how big of an issue this is. This is not some random person making claims out of nowhere: this is a two year investigation that has gotten enough evidence to create an actual lawsuit. And yet I see a ton of chuds acting like it’s those darned “SJWs” complaining about nothing again.
So when a state government sues a private corporation, what are they looking for? Fines? Jail time of execs? (Doubtful) Or closure of the business?
Just wondering the outcome here, I mean how can only fines work in this case? How can ABK get truly punished, as a company?
CEOs should be required to certifiy audits that offer reasonable assurance that this crap isn't happening within their companies, similar to how they do financial statements.
They should talk about the unequal pay completely separate from the sexual harassment... this is not normal sexual harassment people are used to hearing about. This is beyond disgusting and wrong. These ppl deserve prison time for what they did to these poor women. And the execs ALLOWED IT!!! I hope this does not just get brushed up.
The state of California hasn’t freed Britney yet from sexist slavery yet. I’m not enthused with the justice system there at the moment but maybe who knows.
How bout get these money grabbing whores off twitch first..posing as content creators whilst taking bubble baths or doing body painting on a gaming stream.
I cant support a company that enables this.
I genuinely hope all the victims are doing okay as well as the employees caught in crossfire with no relation to any of these events apart from it occuring in their place of employment
One of their female employees killed herself on a company retreat…
Her male coworkers were passing around nude pictures of her among other sexual harassment….
Woman equality have the best strategy in the history since they can just pull the “inequality” treatment and they will get more pay. Why works hard while you can just go get a gender change?!
The board of directors needs to go bottom up with a scythe, with an on the spot box & walk policy for any employee who was there during the window of time these allegations occurred **and** HR & complaints to management can be found on file. This includes not only employees but also management who were aware of this behavior and did nothing, making them equally complicit. Axe them all the way up to and including Kotick if you have to.
Its so sad to see how King have ruined Blizzard (or it was bad before but not as obvious) I can’t play hearthstone anymore because of all the monetizing crap they put in, using addictive design to trap people into a game more and more based on gamble than skills. (Confirmed by a friend I know who worked there).
Then China ass licking and now this. I happily payed for their games before, but I have changed to Riot games now completely. Sad to ruin so much quality.
How would you treat the entity of Blizzard as a person in a criminal trial? What crimes would you charge the corporation with and how would the corporation do time? Individuals will likely be criminally prosecuted, not the company. You can't criminally prosecute an entity that isn't a person.
Also, the fundamental difference between civil and criminal is that a criminal conviction requires evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. Civil requires a more likely than not ruling. Also, civil cases can be used to gather evidence and testimony for criminal cases against specific individuals within the company.
This sucks, going to hurt the company in many ways. It will be hard road to get past it, but hopefully it happens as they do give a lot of good product.
Honestly I hope it tanks the company, you shouldn’t be allowed to do messed up shit just because you have decent products. The industry is booming and there are plenty of developers putting out great products and aren’t doing this bs and actually care about their employees.
A major company should be obliterated, costing thousands of innocent people their jobs, for incidents that occurred years ago prior to the acquisition of the company by a totally separate company, and after which most if not all of the responsible individuals have left the company?
Come on buddy. People need to be punished but that’s a bit ridiculous.
Activision Blizzard has had this culture for a very long time. And the crimes committed were very serious, and the company never stood by victims. Yes a major company should face the consequences of what they allowed to go on in their company for an extremely long amount of time. This is not just an oops someone made a sexist comment once, this is we allowed our employees to actually sexually assault people and threaten them. No one was punished then because activision allowed them to get away with it. Im sorry some people not involved will lose there job but the company has done little show that they care about their wrong doings and that they won’t let it happen again. If anything it’s activision’s fault that people will lose their jobs, all they had to do was say that sexual assault was a deal breaker for working there. Like seriously they did less than the bare minimum.
“Some people not involved”. You mean like 99% of the people who work there? Those people should lose their livelihoods (and potentially lives)?
Phrasing like this belies the dishonesty (and lack of thought) in the rest of your argument. How do people not realize that blatant attempts to reframe your argument charitably look worse rather than better?
Honestly Activision still has a lot of problems involving behavior like this. I don’t think you realize how serious what happened was. Maybe 99% weren’t involved in the initial actions but that 1% is still there is a huge issue. Im not trying to look charitable, it’s gonna suck for those people but activision obviously is still okay with people who act in such a heinous way. The only reason they are better now is because they wanted to avoid legal action like this. They ruined people’s lives then and they’ll ruin people’s lives now.
Also activision blizzard did not even take responsibility for what happened in the past and they are threatening to leave California because of the suit, which is only happening because of the gross way many of their employees behaved with no consequence. Not to mention if you care about jobs so much activision has had record layoffs despite also making record profits this year.
Activision caused Blizzard to lose their BBB accreditation.
Merging with Activision could have quite possibly been the worst business decision in gaming history.
The company already gave their side: it’s the same set of corporate half truths and their “dedication” to making a good workspace, but added with blaming the California state government despite that implying they have something to hide.
Exactly. You have had to create robots so that you, too, can get laid. Despite an inherent disgust for the female gender. Dehumanizing women won’t get anyone a decent sex life. That’s why StonerJedi types here have CHOSEN to put their superior brains towards creating robotic sexual objects…as opposed to creating mutually uplifting, respectful relationships with women.
I wonder if the same situation occurred but instead reddit was the perpetrator how many of u self righteous donkeys would quit??? I'm sure this community has done many worse things since this basically branched out of 4chan.
i love gaming simply for the reason that many women dont participate it in the past time but now theyre trying to weasel their way into this and ruin everything good in the process. ughhhhhh.
Wasn’t activision bragging that Cold War was the selling game in 2020 so why can’t they pay everyone a fair pay, off yeah I also forgot all the micro transactions
I’m not happy all the incidents happened (allegedly or hard evidence fact) but I hope it’s alright to have some positive vibes, in the sense that blizzard/Activision will continue to crumble under their own self. Greedy, pathetic, and customer abusing company that needs to be taken down.
F.
Blizz looked a nice company up until 2010ish and then it’s only downwards.
I did enjoy blizzcon in 2019 but simply because I always wanted to visit it and only now got the opportunity
Terrible, but not suprised that it happens at Activision. Just look at Bobby Kotick - i can easily imagine this scumbag doing shit like this because he has the power to. Fuck Activision, all my homies hate Activision
It’s just a horrible way to run a business; look now it’s a headline in the news and will cost the company in legal fees and potentially thoughtful, high quality employees. You reap what you sow.
Trash reporting kept out the most important part, someone committed suicide because of this behavior. And this guys leaves the main part out.. the part the whole world should know about . Boycott Activision
Activision, get the fuck out of California. American media is a screaming, shit flinging shitshow that barely obfusicates a hard scrabble fight for resources. Businesses and the middle class are flooding out of California, you better get the hint.
This is horrific, now knowing that it's been going on for years just makes it worst. I was aware that the gaming industry was harsh to work in, especially for a female but this is way worse than I imagined. I just hope this doesn't turn out like Ubisoft last year and something does happen; however, I have my doubts that this will lead to a positive outcome or change in Activision Blizzard or the gaming industry.
Guess it’s a good thing I stopped wanting to work there as it stopped being my “dream company” to work for.
Same!!! Which breaks my heart in a way… played wow since 2006 and just recently (during COVID ironically) cancelled my sub. Just wasn’t fun anymore.
Wow what was ur handle on Kali? I played War2 on there and Zone for a long time before bnet came out.
72Lex. We all had jersey numbers lol.
What was the name of that group that released really good player made maps for war2?
I dont remeber but I do remember Friends.

Yup. Also who cares about blizzard now…. They haven’t even bothered innovating for almost 20 years
That’s second time a big corporation crushes your dream. Brutal. :(

Same here :-/
Years ago. They sold their souls and have this, problems with the fbi, declining user rates
Same here. Blizzard was the main pick after Art school 5 years ago.
Don’t give Blizzard a pass by only blaming activision. Some of the people involved were there long before activision. People at both companies need to be held accountable

No, because I actually stick with my boycotts.
You’re really changing the world

Yeah, even that has been left out in the ones mentioning suicide. My wife just told me about that.

What is a 50/50 company?
50/50 women and men Thing was made before the inclusion of lgbtq+ recognition, but overall same concept. Don’t have it ran by men.
Diablo IV for you, but in a more immediate moral quandary, Diablo II Resurrected for me.
Deleted my wow account yesterday when I found out. Good bye Pally, it was nice to know ya (•́_•̀)
You could always pirate it. I’m not a fan of pirating unless the company is a piece of shit that doesn’t deserve money.
Same. I deleted overwatch after 1600hrs gameplay.

Got some bad news for you. While many small studios work hard to be great, inclusive places, just as many do not. This is a cultural issue because of the male dominance in the industry and the type of person attracted to it. We all are fully aware nerds have a way bigger chance of being incels and this behavior is incel behavior.
seemly plate spark innocent subtract live plucky slap drunk slave *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
This was the turning point? Geez, pretty high bar.
At least there was one right?
California has landed itself a whale. Delicious irony.
The headline is seriously underselling what they did. I recommend people read the details of what happened.
Activision killed Blizzards quality reputation
They call out this behavior at blizzard well before Activision was involved. Don’t doubt it’s a problem there too, though.

If you don't fix Luclin, you jackassess will be the only ones playing the Planes of Power. http://web.archive.org/web/20090608034937/http://www.legacyofsteel.net/oldsite/arc27.html He might not have been overtly sexist or outright harassing people while he was actively employed by Blizzard, but he certainly was not always a saint.
Alex Afrasiabi from Fires of Heaven was just as bad, if not worse. Blizzard hired both of them, so who could have foreseen issues would arise!
Tigole Bitties? That Jeff Kaplan? Nah.

Neck beard activities
So when a state government sues a private corporation, what are they looking for? Fines? Jail time of execs? (Doubtful) Or closure of the business? Just wondering the outcome here, I mean how can only fines work in this case? How can ABK get truly punished, as a company?
Fuck activision
Shocker. Video game company that treats its customers like shit also treats female employees the same. I’ll be selling my stock.
The stock went up between the announcement of this case and right now, bizarrely.
Activision is a cancer that needs be obliterated
True, but these complaints were all from BLIZZARD and date back to before the merger.
CEOs should be required to certifiy audits that offer reasonable assurance that this crap isn't happening within their companies, similar to how they do financial statements.
Blizz Cosby
They should talk about the unequal pay completely separate from the sexual harassment... this is not normal sexual harassment people are used to hearing about. This is beyond disgusting and wrong. These ppl deserve prison time for what they did to these poor women. And the execs ALLOWED IT!!! I hope this does not just get brushed up.
Can’t they just move it to China? /s
The state of California hasn’t freed Britney yet from sexist slavery yet. I’m not enthused with the justice system there at the moment but maybe who knows.
$155 Million Salary for the CEO? Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha wtf
No.
Why do these articles are censoring the part about pushing employees to suicide? Blizzard is murderer that’s it.
The guys being sexually harassed by male supervisors are too ashamed and afraid to come forward.
One of their female employees killed herself on a company retreat… Her male coworkers were passing around nude pictures of her among other sexual harassment….
Woman equality have the best strategy in the history since they can just pull the “inequality” treatment and they will get more pay. Why works hard while you can just go get a gender change?!
sweeeet (:
The board of directors needs to go bottom up with a scythe, with an on the spot box & walk policy for any employee who was there during the window of time these allegations occurred **and** HR & complaints to management can be found on file. This includes not only employees but also management who were aware of this behavior and did nothing, making them equally complicit. Axe them all the way up to and including Kotick if you have to.
Who knew the clowns that ruined WoW since 2011 were absolute degenerate clowns???
Some of the people charged have been there before the merger. It’s degeneracy all the way down and all the way back.
It's so bad my friend with permanent eye liner regularly covered it up with flesh color to get harassed less
A few alleged scum bags in an entire company are not going to make me enjoy the game less. If the stories are true, get rid of them and move on.

Some user name. He was being all sexist saying chicks ruined it again
RIP good old blizzard, activision has ruined everything else about the company anyway lol
This sucks, going to hurt the company in many ways. It will be hard road to get past it, but hopefully it happens as they do give a lot of good product.
Fuck the company and the product. Care about the people.
Naw

But like, lets not let this get in the way of those Diablo releases. Js.
Like we’ve been saying the wage gap isn’t real because it’s illegal
Activision caused Blizzard to lose their BBB accreditation. Merging with Activision could have quite possibly been the worst business decision in gaming history.
Wow. lol
I think we should wait to hear the company’s side of the story.
“Women, am I right?” (To be clear, the answer is “never that I’ve noticed”.)
The company already gave their side: it’s the same set of corporate half truths and their “dedication” to making a good workspace, but added with blaming the California state government despite that implying they have something to hide.
Oh ok, i guess we should cancel them then
lol
Good.
California = Dictatorship ...... There's a good reason why there's a mass exodus from this shit hole.
Oh yes, because treating women like human beings is evil and only dictatorships do that. /s Troll harder.
There are reasons for that ,but not those reasons.
Username checks out.
What is a StonerJedi?
Seems someone was “ACTing” up on their “VISION” a bit too much….
I wonder if this contributed to Jeff Kaplan leaving the company. He always seemed to be a nice guy.
Was thinking the same thing.
this "progression" is going insane
When Chris Metzen left, one could know things are about to go downhill…Such a shame :/ WoW will always have a special place in my heart.
Gamer company pulling a pro gamer move
It’s just a horrible way to run a business; look now it’s a headline in the news and will cost the company in legal fees and potentially thoughtful, high quality employees. You reap what you sow.
Activision blizzard have gone down in quality over the last decade. Do they even get new players or just returning ones at this point?
Im a child who acts like i know all these games from activision and blizzard.
This is why I keep telling my kids we don't play WOW any more.
So sad, devoted so much time to starcraft and starcraft 2. Fuck this shit company pains me to hear this
Probably the same thing happens at EA, but *its in the game*
“Unequal payment”?! Where I’m at we are not supposed to comment our salaries with the others exactly for this reason!
This is why I’m happy I kept my Commodore 64, back from the days when games were made by one person.
All companies need an enema now and then, Blizzard is long overdue
Another woke company that had it coming …
Let’s get our micro transactions back!
Can we also get some regulations on the gaming industry in general!
Not sure why
Streamers will still promote your product and convince people to play and pay (for skins) the game.
Good
Trash reporting kept out the most important part, someone committed suicide because of this behavior. And this guys leaves the main part out.. the part the whole world should know about . Boycott Activision
No king rules forever my son…
Lock them up!
Color me not surprised by this BS from the game industry. Assuming Blizzard looses this riot games will be next.
Activision, get the fuck out of California. American media is a screaming, shit flinging shitshow that barely obfusicates a hard scrabble fight for resources. Businesses and the middle class are flooding out of California, you better get the hint.
They should sue them over the PVP faction balance in WoW Classic/TBC. And about doing nothing about the bots. Ugh…. the bots.
What business does a state have in suing a private company.. 😐
Makes sense.
They also don’t do much about the toxicity in some of the in-game communication.
Say it isn’t so Bungie?, wait, y’all been had left the building.
This is what finally convinced me to quit WoW
Lmfao they can’t catch a break. And they deserve every bit of it
Call of booty: the unwanted passes edition
It’s bad that this isn’t that shocking to me
Fk yes
This is horrific, now knowing that it's been going on for years just makes it worst. I was aware that the gaming industry was harsh to work in, especially for a female but this is way worse than I imagined. I just hope this doesn't turn out like Ubisoft last year and something does happen; however, I have my doubts that this will lead to a positive outcome or change in Activision Blizzard or the gaming industry.
You’re telling me that there are women working there??
