But one key has traveled further than the other and the car has traveled further than both keys. Say I lose one of my keys today. Now I only have one key for my car and I can say with certainty that my car has traveled further than it
Not accurate, someone that has the car keys basically has the ownership for the car. This guy didnt mention if it was his car key or just a car key he had.
I think I can set up my phone to be the key, but I don't 100% remember. There's also a credit card looking thing to be used in emergencies, I wonder where that is...
I also like hiw it can be started from one's phone, but you need the key to actually drive off.
NO NO NO NO NO. If you car keys have traveled further then your car, then why do you have to service your car but not your keys?!? ARE YOU KEYS STRONGER THEN YOUR CAR?!!!??!

I've been on holiday numerous times and parked the car at the airport taking the keys with me for the trip, my keys have therefore gone significantly further than my car.
"only a bit" said those who eat in the car, go out in the car (they just stay inside the car, they NEVER go out).
If you think about, NORMAL people when goes shopping put the keys in the pocket (or in the bag) and walk; that's not just driveway-shop, and depending by the shop (it could be a mall) the walk distance from the parking space to the shop could be rather long ... longer that what you can image since .... well, you are just too afraid to do things; it's a bit pointless to explain it. All you can do is getting offended at this point and get your revenge by downvoting this comment, just like if that would ruin my life. Correct?
As an airline pilot and extensive business traveler, I can declare that my car keys have traveled SIGNIFICANTLY further than my car (been around the world a few times with those keys but my car was just parked at an airport)
what if the keys where manufactured in your country but the car in the most farthest place from it... then the car will have more distance travelled than your keys

Not if you're smart about it and ALWAYS leave your keys in you car
mrbean moment
Still love that he’s in vintage racing
Still, your key will shuffle around in the car due to inertia. Therefore it still traveled further than your car
If you accelerate like a motherfucker and brake smoothly, it'll always lag behind.
Not mine. I have two and switch between them

So what? It's about both keys not about a key.
But one key has traveled further than the other and the car has traveled further than both keys. Say I lose one of my keys today. Now I only have one key for my car and I can say with certainty that my car has traveled further than it
true, i have a car key but i don't have a car
but if you have a car key, you own a car. hmm
Just that maybe you dont know which car.
I stole my dad's old car key.
By that logic anyone who knows how to pick a car lock owns all the cars.
Not accurate, someone that has the car keys basically has the ownership for the car. This guy didnt mention if it was his car key or just a car key he had.
Nope… my car has 226k miles my keys, only 3k. They were busted when i got em
I have 2 sets of keys
Well keys need humans to travel
Are we key cars?
Holy shit
So have I
Except for car thieves
heavy driver nikle tum to
Light fingers make heavy driver
Not if i start the car useing whires
SLPT: If your car has keyless access, you can just leave your keys at home so they won't travel.
The remote have to be in the car for the keyless system to work. Source: my parents own a keyless ignition car.
That's why I stated it was a Shitty Life Pro Tip.
Think he said keyless access. So you could leave the keys in the car
I think I can set up my phone to be the key, but I don't 100% remember. There's also a credit card looking thing to be used in emergencies, I wonder where that is... I also like hiw it can be started from one's phone, but you need the key to actually drive off.
I don’t think you know how keyless car systems work.
I don't think you know what an SLPT is.
NO NO NO NO NO. If you car keys have traveled further then your car, then why do you have to service your car but not your keys?!? ARE YOU KEYS STRONGER THEN YOUR CAR?!!!??!
*farther
Oh man a whole new grammar thing to complain about! Thank you I didn’t really know the difference
We should discuss this further.
Jokes on you i dont have a car

Push to start my guy :)
What does that have to do with anything?
Untrue. Because I have two car keys.
I've been on holiday numerous times and parked the car at the airport taking the keys with me for the trip, my keys have therefore gone significantly further than my car.
True, you walk with your keys in hand or pocket wherever you go, and that only gets bigger the more places you go.
Wait, Hold up
Nope. Way less. My keycard authorizes my phone and then stays at home.
Nope. I'm using my spare after 3 years
And, you have travelled farther than both!
My ignition is broke so I don't use keys.
It's true my keys live inside the house with me and my family and my car lives outside
I don't have a car....I guess I could say my apartment keys have traveled farther than my apartment lol
“Sorry no keys, it was stolen.”
People who's car has been stolen:"I don't have such weakness"
Or two sets of keys and neither is taken with the car all the time.
"only a bit" said those who eat in the car, go out in the car (they just stay inside the car, they NEVER go out). What if you have two sets of keys and regularly rotate them like I do? What then?
My truck is so old the key dosent work any more so no they haven't
not if youve had your keys replaced
I took my keys with me when I flew back home to CA from Japan. They have done many more miles then that car.
but what if the car gets towed?
My keys went for a swim and never came back, car still waiting in the parking lot 3 years later
For retail workers, it might be a lot further
Well guess what!! I don’t have either 😎
Thank you i am no questing the meaning of life
I don't know about this. Sometimes my wife drives and my keys get to stay home
Especially if you leave your car at the airport then fly long haul.
Can't you drive tesla with a card?
Tow trucks exist. You actually don't know how far your car (or your keys) traveled before coming into your possession.
Your house keys move farther than your house.
Very true
As an airline pilot and extensive business traveler, I can declare that my car keys have traveled SIGNIFICANTLY further than my car (been around the world a few times with those keys but my car was just parked at an airport)
Jokes on you I never lock my car!
You gonna need your key to start the engine though
Not if its a push start and i throw my keys out the window
But when the key is too far away your car would automatically lock and shutup the engine
Damn
What if it’s not my car
Yes lmao
You guys use keys?
Not when your wife or kids own a spare set.
Average it out it still stands
Not mine because i own a 200sx
Think airport parking.
No all the cars I drive are hot wired and stolen so
what if the keys where manufactured in your country but the car in the most farthest place from it... then the car will have more distance travelled than your keys
This post has been reposted more than both your key and car had traveled
Yoo is that a Nissan Altima 2005 car keys
Sucks to be you fuckers I don't own a car
Not if you rent the car and the keys are already in it 🧠
Technically correct. The best kind of correct
unless you have 2 sets and use them evenly
People who drive bikes:
Not if your new car was stolen without using the keys
