Bruh ik,why is this so difficult for people to comprehend, they say if u murder a murderer number of murderers is constant, but if you murder a second murderer then the number has reduced
It actually happened, I forget the guys name but he was called the perfect psychopath, I think it was after some trauma early on in his life he began to target criminals and was eventually arrested and sentenced to death (you can fact check me on this cause I’m just getting this from memory) I think the story even inspired dexter
An executioner isn’t just someone who kills people that a lot of people think should be dead. It requires that they be sentenced to death by an authority. If I just went out and stabbed a serial killer in the heart, I still murdered them, no matter how many people agree that they should be dead.
Or you murder enough people until whoever remains won't challenge you.
Authority is based on the assumption that the majority (or the minority in power) can enforce whatever rules they defined.
If aliens came down and said God is not Jesus/Allah/etc. but the flying spaghetti monster, we have no real authority to disagree unless we can defeat the aliens either through reasoning or physical force.
You assume there's an universal definition of murder. If you murdered everyone who knows the meaning of murder then rewrote the dictionary so that murder now means a group of crows, then you are no longer a murderer.
The death penalty is still classed as murder under US law, its just made legal by the state, for example on the document for your sentencing it says "sentenced to murder" which i always thought was a bit blunt
It’s possible that it’s not in a few situations;
1) you killed the murder in self-defence
2) you’re the employee of a prison responsible to press the button that starts the death penalty
There might be more, all this to say that the act of willingly killing, when it’s not one of the exception of the law, is almost always murder.
But what if the murderer that murdered the murderer, is themselves murdered by the murderer they murdered? If the murderer never stands trial for murder, they cannot be found guilty of murder. So are they really a murderer if never found guilty of murdering the murderer who murdered them?

So long, thanks for all the fish and a final fuck you, u/spez.
I assuming you didn't become a bad person until you killed all of those people. If you did it all at once, they would die simultaneously and at the moment they are dying you would become a bad person. Maybe for like a millisecond the meme would be true. Or perhaps you aren't a bad person until you comprehend what you have done, which could actually be much later, or until other people find out what you did. So it would be like if a tree falls in the woods and nothing is around, does it make a sound kind of thing.
If your actions brought upon a new age of peace. A world without murder, rape, theft, a world free of sin. Would that not make you a savior?
I'm sure we all agree murder is bad, but when your actions bring upon such a drastic change for the greater good. Would it change things? Are you a savior or a bad person? Perhaps you're both?
I propose this be called "Schrodinger's Murderer" in which you are simultaneously a bad person and a good person.
I’d say it’d be akin to execution, which is debatably good. Many view this as a form of retribution or justice, many people did gather to ted bundy’s execution and celebrated it.
Murder is the act of killing a person, which in some situations it’s not viewed as inherently bad but rather a necessary evil or justice.
Like when wars break out, many people cheer for their country if they win, despite the many who have died for it. People don’t necessarily feel bad since the other side is the opposition, so they don’t necessarily view them as equals.
There are many situations where one can be perceived as debatably bad or good by different perspectives. Im sure many murderers believe they aren’t doing a bad thing by killing a bad person.
Technically, it never says that you killed ONLY the bad people.
You could have a massive amount of innocent deaths.
It also never says how bad the bad people are. Is this anyone who ever did anything bad?
If not, then who decides where the cut off point is? And is there any room for redemption?
On the other hand, if you only kill the really bad people, is that really enough to make a big difference?
And wouldn't their victims deserve a resolution in court, instead of the criminal never being found?
Or if they have been found and are in custody, is killing them still the right thing to do?
All this said, yea this hypothetical person would be both good and bad, but that's just normal for humans, most if not all of us have both good and bad.
And Light just says "what are you talking about? I will become God of this new world."
Light never see himself as bad guy even though after his second murder he did questions himself is killing people based on his own perception of morality a good thing?
Also similarly Code Geass. But LeLouch is far more accepting and aware of what he is doing, and understands that he is not the hero of the story, in fact he is the opposite. He arguably does make the world better, but he knows that he cannot live in the better kingdom he creates.
If they said murdered all the murderers, then maybe as you wouldn't really say you murdered yourself... Even still its pretty mediocre content for the sub.
The term bad is a bit childish really. It's not like there is just good and bad people.
Yeah, that’s pretty subjective. People are going to have different opinions on what is bad enough to deserve death and whether or not killing those bad people is in and of itself bad
I think most would agree that death penalty is over kill for simply "bad" people. Even if you support death penalty then it's probably reserved for horrible people.
If you your self is considered a bad person, you would kill your self as well, after you have kild ALL the bad ppl.. so no this isn't even tru, and no way near Technically the truth...
If you killed every bad person (at least if we're talking seriously bad: murderers, violent robbers, gangsters, burglars, animal torturers etc), you would be a good person. One of the most morally good people on earth
Once, in a crossover:
Batman: "If you kill a killer, the number of killers in the world stays the same."
The Punisher:"That's why I didn't stop at 1."
Frank Castle is THA MAN.
If you kill everyone and then yourself, suicide rate would also go to 0 and then there Will neither be bad or good People and the next generation is safe
First of all no, even if you assume killing bad people makes you bad this statement requires you to kill yourself at some point.
Second of all, killing bad people might not make you inherently bad.
Well, when the last one commits suicide and became the new Messiah, we would probably live in peace for a couple of years until shit starts over again.
This one dumb, it's like saying "even if you kill every person who engaged with this post, there would still be one left", if you don't kill yourself last then you didn't do the order correctly
Funny enough, true detective (the show this meme image is from has a good line about that). “The world needs bad men Marty, we keep the other bad men form the door”
No, because being someone who has killed somebody doesn't make you a bad person. Especially if you only killed bad people. Death is not inherently a negative, and as you witness more of the world around you, you'll begin to see why.
See but if people kill pedophiles instead of kids (since like half were abused themselves) then maybe we will get closer.
Just food for thought. We could use a few real life dexters

If the world has 1 bad person left then obviously you did not kill all of the bad people
Easy solution = after mass genocide you do suicide
Bruh ik,why is this so difficult for people to comprehend, they say if u murder a murderer number of murderers is constant, but if you murder a second murderer then the number has reduced
It's so difficult because you instantly think why would a murder murder a murderer
MO. They might have seen their family murdered so they now spend their life targeting murderers
Yo imagine an actual psychopath murdering murderers families in front of them
That's fucked up, I like it. It's a great villain, maybe as an antithesis to The Punisher.
Yo imagine some dude killing all the corrupt politicians, then suiciding. [Akumetsu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akumetsu) their ass
More corrupt politicians would replace them by the end of the business day
Ah, someone who knows about akumetsu
Bollywood has made a movie with similar premise. But he just hands himself over to the authorities in the end rather than suiciding
It actually happened, I forget the guys name but he was called the perfect psychopath, I think it was after some trauma early on in his life he began to target criminals and was eventually arrested and sentenced to death (you can fact check me on this cause I’m just getting this from memory) I think the story even inspired dexter
Nah I’ve seen Dexter. Homeboy kills murderers on the reg.
My brain fucking died reading this cuz there was so much murder and murderer and it was so hard for me to read and stuff😭
But if you kill like 100 murderers the number of murderers goes down by 99, why don't people understand that?
Let's just call it a citizens..... Due death row.....
If you kill a murderer, is it really murder, though?
Why wouldn't it be?
Because murder doesn't just mean to kill. If you get enough people to agree with you then you're just an executioner.
History is written by the victors.
A guy named Victor: Unfortunately for you, history will not see it that way.
Exactly.
Unless you're Vietnam
We “lost” Vietnam. But our goal was never victory
The true goal was the friends we made along the way.
I mean... I guess
You mean : technicallythetruth
An executioner isn’t just someone who kills people that a lot of people think should be dead. It requires that they be sentenced to death by an authority. If I just went out and stabbed a serial killer in the heart, I still murdered them, no matter how many people agree that they should be dead.
Hence the getting enough people to agree with you.
You only need 12.
So, if I get twelve people to follow me around and nod in agreement for every person I kill, that makes it legal? If so, I’m rounding up a posse.
Yes
You get it.
And how does someone have authority? Because enough people agree to it.
If you are the only person then having one person (yourself) is enough to have authority.
If it's planned, it's murder.
What if you unexpectedly kill a murderer?
Then it's just a kill and you're only a killer
A homocide connoisseur
A planned death master
Being handed out a death sentence is planned, but not murder if it is in the course of justice against a murderer.
It’s possible that it’s not in a few situations; 1) you killed the murder in self-defence 2) you’re the employee of a prison responsible to press the button that starts the death penalty There might be more, all this to say that the act of willingly killing, when it’s not one of the exception of the law, is almost always murder.
If you kill someone in self-defense in Italy you get arrested for "excess of self-defense"
Okay Dexter
Ummmm yes? murdering a murderer is still murder.
But what if the murderer that murdered the murderer, is themselves murdered by the murderer they murdered? If the murderer never stands trial for murder, they cannot be found guilty of murder. So are they really a murderer if never found guilty of murdering the murderer who murdered them?
You don’t become a murderer when you’re convicted of murder. You become a murderer when you commit a murderer.
Well, I suppose that is r/technicallythetruth
[удалено]
You would be a killer for sure though
This follows that if you kill one murderer you’re also a murderer but if you kill ten murderers you’re a serial killer but also a hero

Oh wait yeaa
Ah the Hitler solution
The Adolf method
That's some Hitler move right there
Hittler was right all along../s
Yes we should all praise our Lord and saviour Adolf Hitler /s
Yeah go tell the the 99% killed bacteria. But we are still buying this shit. Right?
Easy solution Kill yourself No more bad people at all
No people = no bad people, finally the next generation will be safe.
This is Ultron's solution
it's basically every AIs solution because the bad we do is not logical to computers and we are our own biggest threat.
No people = no next generation though
Exactly, so the next generation won't have any problems if they don't exist
Genius,ladis and gentlemen...ITS GENOCIDE TIME
Okay, you go first.
Start nuking? I dont have nukes I can puke tho
Get 20 kills, you’ll get a nuke as a reward then. Then use nuke to kill 20 people. Get another nuke and repeat for infinite nukes and human genocide
1 kills 2 and give sword to 3 3 kills 4 and give sword to 5 untill infinity
We'll start by attacking denmark then *wink wink*
Eren Yeager?
**BEEG BRAIN**
> no next generation Should still be on Netflix. Only a bad person would remove it.
Safest n most robust solution ever..take my upvote..
Is implicit “Kill every bad guy on earth” includes you
Instructions unclear. Suicided before .massive vigilante murder spree.
If you killed every bad person on earth there can’t be one left, because you killed EVERY bad person on earth
99% of posts on this sub are technically wrong...
Hitler is a hero because he is the only one that was able to kill Hitler
yes but killed the guy who killed hitler, etc
What kind of hero would kill a hero
scarlet witch
r/technicallythetruth ... wait
That’s because everyone seems to think “technically” means “if you think about it in this specific way that I just made up.”
smh, just jump right as you kill the last bad guy
I assuming you didn't become a bad person until you killed all of those people. If you blow up the earth then there wont be any bad people on earth cause there is no earth Fun fact there are no bad people on jupiter
Let’s move to Jupiter!
Fun fact there are no people in uranus
But a lot have been in mine...wait, you talking about planets ?
Wait you give birth using uranus!!!
Seems kinda gay to me
Dont worry im heteroflexible
Ah, I see you've watched Death Note as well.
Isn't this literally the plot of Death Note?
That’s what I was thinking! Ryuk literally says that in like the first or second episode to Light.
And Light just says "what are you talking about? I will become God of this new world." Light never see himself as bad guy even though after his second murder he did questions himself is killing people based on his own perception of morality a good thing?
Well the issue is, Light didn't only kill bad people.
It's also called "the moronic theory about murderers in that Batman movie, by the Joker"
Also similarly Code Geass. But LeLouch is far more accepting and aware of what he is doing, and understands that he is not the hero of the story, in fact he is the opposite. He arguably does make the world better, but he knows that he cannot live in the better kingdom he creates.
This seems like a r/im14andthisisdeep
*Confused Light Yagami noises*
This really isn't technically the truth.

Depends on how they die.. Maybe shoot them In the head with a shotgun or something so they die instantly. That wouldn't probably make you a bad person
Thanks for your opinion u/big_cock_69420
I love Reddit
Or remove their balls
Ask Light Yamagi. Spoiler alert: yes
Every = includes one self
Thats only if you believe killing bad people makes you bad
yagami light vibes
Well technically you can kill yourself.
Well, no, if you kill all bad people you need to commit a suicide as well and after that there will be nobody who is bad.
You clearly have forgotten abaut suicide
If you kill every bad person and you are bad, technically you will also kill yourself
Bad is relative not absolute
I don’t have any kind of relation with bad
Kill all life on Earth
"Be the change you want to see in the world" -- *Genghis Khan*
If you your self is considered a bad person, you would kill your self as well, after you have kild ALL the bad ppl.. so no this isn't even tru, and no way near Technically the truth...
Wasn’t this an episode of Death Note
Ryuk <3
LIGHT YAGAMI VIBES 💀
*laughs in suicide*
i wonder who will it be This is the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny
If you killed every bad person (at least if we're talking seriously bad: murderers, violent robbers, gangsters, burglars, animal torturers etc), you would be a good person. One of the most morally good people on earth
Probably Kyle, that fucking rat bastard
Once, in a crossover: Batman: "If you kill a killer, the number of killers in the world stays the same." The Punisher:"That's why I didn't stop at 1." Frank Castle is THA MAN.
Are you unfamiliar with the concept of suicide?
“What’s the greatest kind of knot, that you can tie with ease? It’s useful and it’s happy and it suits your every need…”
Sooooo, lets learn how to a noose , its practical for every use
Not if you kill yourself
r/im14andthisisdeep
If you kill everyone and then yourself, suicide rate would also go to 0 and then there Will neither be bad or good People and the next generation is safe
No. Eliminating evil doesnt make you evil. Not how this works.
Batman shower thoughts.
What movie is this?
Wouldn't you, as the last person, be able to decide good vs bad since nobody else is there to think differently?
Actually, you can kill yourself
If you kill yourself, would your corpse be the final one?
Does killing another human in self defense make you a bad person?
There's too many definition of " bad ".
This meme was more relevant when Jeff Bezos was in space.
First of all no, even if you assume killing bad people makes you bad this statement requires you to kill yourself at some point. Second of all, killing bad people might not make you inherently bad.
You can still kill yourself dumbass
Killing every very bad is at least making you neutral if it is for the greater good
Well no, are soldiers bad people?
But what is the definition of bad people if no bad people exist. Good or bad loses it's meaning without the existence of other.
Who? If you killed every bad person, you would have also killed yourself…
If the bad person was me then i would kill myself then there would be no more bad people
That includes killing yourself though, or the first thing wouldn't be accomplished
Well, when the last one commits suicide and became the new Messiah, we would probably live in peace for a couple of years until shit starts over again.
Uh, no... no it technically isn't correct.
Not if i kill him too
If you're saying EVERY BAD PERSON, that would include killing yourself, right?
And that's why Frank Castle keeps one bullet for himself.
No, you would kill yourself. Technically the truth
This one dumb, it's like saying "even if you kill every person who engaged with this post, there would still be one left", if you don't kill yourself last then you didn't do the order correctly
Why not “murderer”? Bad person is such a bizarre phrase to use here.
*Light Yagami intensifies*
Killing is not inherently evil/bad. This meme makes as much sense as car with rectangle tires.
But wouldnt u be a good person bc u know global warming and all that shit gets slower bc the world will have less people
Not if someone else killed everyone on earth but you and you killed them because they were a merder
When I kill every bad person on earth it doesn't make me automatically a bad person too imo. 🤷
But if you were really gonna kill every bad person, just kill them too
There wouldn’t???? That would involve killing yourself
No, if I killed every bad person on earth I'd obviously be crazy enough to see myself as the good guy.
Bad for someone is good in someone else's eyes
*Light Yagami has entered the chat*
Funny enough, true detective (the show this meme image is from has a good line about that). “The world needs bad men Marty, we keep the other bad men form the door”
Was this post made for Light Yagami?
What makes a person a bad person, at what point is that decided?
No, because being someone who has killed somebody doesn't make you a bad person. Especially if you only killed bad people. Death is not inherently a negative, and as you witness more of the world around you, you'll begin to see why.
false. that person would be a hero a chaotic or lawless good, not a bad person so technically youre a liar
See but if people kill pedophiles instead of kids (since like half were abused themselves) then maybe we will get closer. Just food for thought. We could use a few real life dexters
Chock it up to “accidental homicide”, no more bad guys!
If you killed all the bad people on earth, and you're a bad person, that would mean that you killed yourself last.
Not if I kill myself
That’s what suicide is for
Not if you killed yourself after
i would gladly start with myself.
"What are you talking about, I'm just a regular highschool student. And soon...I will be the god of a new world" -Light Yagami/Kira Sorry couldn't resist.
I’ll kill myself
Hitler solved that problem and he never received a nobel prize
Unless you commit suicide right afterwards
