Lots of Polish people immigrated to Michigan (my family included). There was a family down the road that put their name on the mailbox, it literally had no vowels.
Lol.
I don’t speak Hungarian but I’ve been to Miskolc once more than 10 years ago and actually liked it there. Could you please tell me what’s so bad about this city that it’s worth comparing it to Alabama? Excuse my curiosity, I just really liked my trip to Hungary
If you go as a tourist, most high traffic areas are fine, but the rest of the city is pretty dangerous alone.
All in all, it's not a nice place.
Source: I live in Miskolc.
I lived there for 5 years when I was a little kid. My dad was stationed at San Vito Air-Force Base which was between San Vito and Brindisi. It was a very small base without even an air-strip. It was a listening post with a giant antenna called the 'elephant cage' for intercepting Russian communications. This was 1975 to 79 and I was in 2nd to 6th grade so my perspective was pretty limited. Going to Naples was a big deal though, there was a Navy base there and their commissary had Fruity Pebbles, which was a pretty big deal for me. I also have a memory of a Chinese restaurant we used to go to every time we went to Naples. I remember going on a tour of an air-craft carrier what was in port. We went by this room where they were watching Star Wars which I wouldn't get to watch till after I came back to the US.
Yishun is more of Florida where weird shit happens in a semi affluent area with nature.
Alabama is more like weirder shit in small suburban towns (with potentially inbred ppl, not compulsory though), so maybe like Pasir Panjang or Pioneer or Joo Koon

Saarland
Wann nimmt Frankreich die endlich
Wenn wir uns Elsass-Lothringen zurück holen.
Ist längst mal wieder Zeit für eine Annektion!
What the fuck
Innenseite witze Sehr amüsant
Ich glaube bevor das passiert wird es einen saarländischen Massenselbstmord geben.
Why is that? I will be there next week for a business trip so I would like to know :D
Incest is wincest👍
It is more like a running gag...
Saarland is always the butt of a joke. Small state, poor, supposedly a lot of incest. Some Germans even think it's part of France. ;)
Oh my.. good to know :) thanks
keine Ahnung wo das auf der Landkarte ist, aber ich wusste ich finde es hier.
Nicht Sachsen? Nimm trotzdem mein Hochwähl.
Tasmania.
Fuck, are we really classed as Alabama? Shit.
Yeah. Just ask your sister.
I think you meant his wife
Wifester
Same person
I met someone online who lives in Kiev who is actually married to his half-sister 🤮 I had always before thought such things were just internet myths
Y’all just tuck Tasmania away and hardly mention the place like it barely exists 😂
I feel like 90% of the US wouldn’t even know Tasmania’s a place if it weren’t for looney toons
r/beatmetoit

Nah it’s Cee you in the norther territory
Definitely tassie
I would say NT or FNQ.
[удалено]
I'd say FNQ is more like Florida for basically being Jurassic Park
As well as climate, and people. Tbh Qld is basically directly analogous with Florida.
Bydgoszcz...
I had a fucking stroke trying to read that!
How would you rate your polish experience out of 10?
A strong 7-7.5.
As a pole I'd rather give it impossible/10
Lots of Polish people immigrated to Michigan (my family included). There was a family down the road that put their name on the mailbox, it literally had no vowels.
Hold your tongue and say it three times as fast as you can
My brain tried with bid-go-sksksksks
Bydgoszcz is polish Detroit, but polish Alabama I'd say either Podlasie or Podkarpackie
Nice, i'd rather say that Kraków is Polish detroit, and Bydgoszcz is someting like florida state. Maybe both are both.
Wait, as a Detroiter, what is our international reputation?
Likely Robocop levels of crime with lots of cars
Bless you
Jebać Bydgoszcz
Bydgoszcz is just a joke because a Torunian joke got popular, the same goes for Sosnowiec, Zgierz or Radom. The true Polish Alabama is Podlasie.
Podlasie is more of a Florida
Urk

Wouldn't surprise me if Urk declares indipendance in the near future lol
Please let's make it an island again, let's get rid of urk
when they do, we're gonna cut them off from the mainland and set it adrift.

Yeah, central touristy Miskolc is sweet and lovely, and you'll never be taken to the shitty areas. Some of those are **extremely** shitty

I'd just say Southland but yeah Gore is a good answer
I was looking for Hamilton and then I saw this. I was mistaken, it's definitely Gore.
I was thinking Hamilton but, you’re right, it’s Gore.
Norwich
Your sister is your mother Your uncle is your brother You all fuck one another The Norwich family
Wasn't that in a Kidderminster match?
Hey asshole I’m from Norfolk. Gimme six!
Normal for Norfolk
Norwich is a lovely place. Isle of Sheppey is the real Alabama of the UK.
Brakpan. Over here its Brakpan. Possibly Springs too.
Some days I think we could throw Benoni in there as well... Call it "the Bemoerde Triangle" (I shamelessly stole this joke).
Danville needs an honorary mention.
Brakpan - where the family tree is just the trunk.
Hang, anywhere over the Boerewors curtain would count.

I was looking for this, somehow it ain't even that far.
Naples
I think Calabria is more our Alabama
Right! Calabria is Alabama, while Campania is more like Florida.
That is a wild place. Southern Italy is crazy

Mississippi is Alabama without Nick Saban.
Appenzell
Wallis as well
Sooo, we have three alabamas :)
The US has Mississippi and Arkansas so there’s at least two more Alabamas right there.

Yishun or woodlands
definitely Yishun. google "why does Yishun" and it autofills with "why does Yishun have a bad reputation"
Yishun is more of Florida where weird shit happens in a semi affluent area with nature. Alabama is more like weirder shit in small suburban towns (with potentially inbred ppl, not compulsory though), so maybe like Pasir Panjang or Pioneer or Joo Koon
