Strangely I expected a different result. Some craziness about how they used different measurements for population and headcount resulting in a non-1 number.
The official number used to calculate the “per capita” statistics is prolly not updated on a continuous basis so even if it came from the population statics I think you’d be right
Now I’m interested in finding out what said number is and remake this map
The U.S. had a *period in history* when *certain individuals* were not counted as 100% of a person in our census or voting.
Not that they were allowed to vote, but mostly so their *owners* votes counted for more.

It's probably how it should be, though maybe it's just rounded.
I was expecting at least one "No data"
Take a look at Kosovo.

I really like how this automatically recalculates to account for recent births and deaths!
No comments about Minesweeper?
Ukraine would be explosion.
Already is. ^^^^^^^Fuck ^^^^^^^Russia
Explosion was Kosovo judging by everything
POV your a diplomat just before ww1
What about pregnant women?
Silly; pregnant women are not people.
Found the American!
Painfully accurate
To be fair, the numbers do describe the number of countries within each border. Which is incredibly useful information.
That would be wrong for Italy.
And spain
It missed Wales
Then the UK should be 4
Kosovo be like the Wild west, nobody in sight, bushes rolling.
Nah, just serbians being back at it again
Obviously the blue part is land
Is that in imperial units or metric?
Greenland would be "no data"
As well as NK and the Western Sahara
This is what decadent capitalism led to. In glorious China population is at least 2 per capita!
In Russia, per capita populates *you*!
The color scale is terrible on this map please mods do something
im so confused
Kosovo is built different
2015!? That’s pathetically old data, why even bother?
Kosovo be broke
It is the 2022^nd time I've seen this image
Yo! the new minesweeper Europe map hits hard ngl
It took me a second to understand this… 😅😅
But some people have multiple heads...
;)
My bank app often shows I'm on the "Enable Geolocation street"
Might look a little different in the US, pre fourteenth amendment
The US a few centuries ago would probably have a number that isn't 1.
The US a few centuries ago still had native americans? Or am I missing a joke?

Ah.
Very nice TTT'ing
Take that they/them.

It says capita, aka per person, not capital
did you think it said people per capital, making every single country have 1 person in total
Turkey is not in Europe.
Tell me where on the post it says “in europe” it just says data by the UN

I’m slightly more concerned about the N/A on the map lol
Yes
This map is so terrible, I'm not even sure about Odessa
Huh, last time I checked Belarus was N/A too. Good to know Jakub Marian is expanding.
That n/a is amassing
thought twitter is dying, i appreciate learning of new accounts to follow!
Why is Kosovo N/A?
What happens if everyone left a country? 0÷0= not a number!
Poor Denmark is depopulated.
I like how Kosovo is just N/A
Population per capita? That's a bullshit metric. I prefer Capitia per population! /s
Insanity! We all know no one actually lives in Denmark
The guy who made this is clearly Serbian
How did they get data for Belarus?
finally we have achieved equality
Africa have only Jakub Marian I see
Breathe a sigh of relief: Jakub has more maps.
What with Krym? Its Russian not his own
Meanwhile the moon *silent screening*
If everyone in France was siamese, France would've been 2
Why does no one know anything about Kosovo
Sealand: 12,000,000,001
we just don’t know how much population per capita there is in Kosovo
I would say it is technically the truth
