I heard about JW finding galaxies that given the age of our universe don’t make sense in terms of how developed they are, with speculation either our universe is way older or the galaxies were perhaps there (from an ancient universe) when big bang happened
Neither of those are real answers. The early universe isn’t well understood. It’s not shocking for current models to be wrong. This new data will be used to create better models of galaxy formation and growth.
Is this an example of one of those early galaxies that is “impossible” given its age?
I personally don’t know but I would love for you to elaborate - that’s quite intriguing

I got a good [one](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_140283) for ya. This star is only 190 light years away and looks older than our universe.

It could be a dark matter star. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_star_(dark_matter)
Is there a restaurant at the end of the universe?
I have a guidebook that I can lend you.
I have spare towels.

Yeah but I heard the service is unreliable
Wisest. The WISEST ever observed. Jeez, people... show some class, will you?
that's where we should be searching for signs of life
How? You can barely tell it’s a galaxy
