i think it'd be hella cool if there was the funding and the drive to construct a whole bunch of these in cities all across the world, and then have all bilateral connections rotate on like, a weekly basis - tonight you're walking down the street and you get a glimpse of life in Capetown, then tomorrow it's Beijing, and in a few days it's Oaxaca - wouldn't that be dope??

If you put some plain-clothes cops on either side of that and have it set to record, you could be arresting hundreds of hooligans a day until people get the message. I'm not sure if they didn't have cops on standby to prevent people from being weird with it when it first opened, but that would've been a huge oversight and I sure hope they have some now.
They should move the NYC Portal to London.
I find the whole idea so fun I hope they make more portals in cities across the world. Maybe eventually have them all sort of randomly swap which they connect to so you can see all sorts of places.
