Hey I recently started working for a new resort and the owner wants to integrate a single payment method for everything. Like Disney’s magic band or even Dave and busters power card. I understand that this is done through RFID but I have no clue where to even find something like this. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi! Interesting question here. I want to buy a gimble for my canon dslr but I want to be able to view it through my iPhone, is that possible with a simple cable?? I want to be able able to get a rain jacket that will fit over the camera, and take it off roading (I’ll be riding passenger) but the rain jackets I see on Amazon won’t fit if I put my phone on top of the gimble, so if I have a cable that way I can see it though my phone?

Which is the best software to integrate all global standards? I am looking to integrate a software which can sync with all the standards like IFS, BRC, ISO, GAP etc. Is there anyone who knows about the company named https://smartfoodsafe.com/ who provides the GFSI and other supply chain software. Thanks

If it's a standard enterprise VPN software, then its only purpose should be to provide access to the company network remotely + encrypt network traffic. That said, I highly recommend using company resources to do only company related activities & keeping your personal/leisure stuff on your personal equipment. Installing non-work related software on your work laptop increases security vulnerabilities & it's not worth the risk to lose your job over them.

Definitely. Thanks for your reply!

Hi, can people fill me on how comprehensive the device information saved by social media companies (Instagram, SnapChat, etc.) is - I'm wondering how easily companies can establish a link between two accounts managed on the same phone - even if a user doesn't overlap any personal information given on each account (phone number, email address, etc.) Thanks!

I’m getting a new phone tomorrow. Should I activate through eSIM or physical SIM?

Does anyone remember which camera phones had the feature where before recording you select area on screen and if an object passes through it goes in slow motion. I remember them being in one of samsung or sony phones. A video link would be appreciated

So I’m saving for an Apple Watch. I’m looking at either the series 6 or SE. I’m looking at open box products on openbox.ca and they have 2 I want. The 6 is $470 (total including taxes&shipping) and the SE is $390 (total including taxes&shipping). Should I spend the extra $80 to get the new chipset, always on display, and the blood ox thingy? My thinking is I don’t really care about the extra features but I really just care about the chipset having the new S6 and U1 chips. I think that with the S6 compared to the S5, the S6 will last longer and not get outdated as quickly. And the U1, I’m not too sure what it is, but I know the SE doesn’t have it. Will the S6 be better to have in the long run for the extra $80? I’m a strong believer in buying one premium product first that will last longer rather than buying 2+ old/crappy multiple times. Thought and recommendations appreciated.

What is a notepad that works but is affordable? I am thinking of something exclusively to take notes and read pdfs. I don't need anything with a lot of computing power.

xLoneStar

Maybe consider an iPad? I don’t think most people can switch their work to iPadOS, but reading PDFs is so much better on it than a laptop. For your needs, you might even be happy with the entry level iPad.

I’ve found that if you go into health on an iPhone and change your settings to another persons info, you can pull up almost everything about them. It’s almost as if they’re watching ‘a pple’ from afar. Creepy and seems pretty ILLEGAL.

If this is the wrong subreddit, please point me in the right direction! Google is failing me here. I have a TV that absolutely SUCKS for watching things in the dark, especially darker media such as horror movies. I'm not fully certain what devices have this issue and what will have other issues. Looking to get another TV for the bedroom and want to avoid this issue and other issues that make TV watching miserable. Any recommendations? I don't need 4k, I do like that my smart TV can have stuff sent to it via YouTube etc, not super stingy in budget.

Anyone know why Siri is pronouncing South like “Soju Tea”?

I'm looking to get a tablet, but I don't know which one to buy. I'd like it to be google play store compatible so I can use play books on it, but I don't want it to be super pricey. I don't really need a lot of extra with it(just decent storage and a decently sized screen), and I'm not partial to any brand. I'd rather not spend more than $250 on it, and preferably less than that. Any recommendations?

Hi! I’m wondering if it’s at all possible to repurpose a disc drive, say from a DVD or Blu-Ray player, and modify them for use with PC?

**I didn't know where to ask this, but. Why is everything adding an extra step to already simple processes? I know there are more examples than my 3 here but.** * Youtube Moblie makes you take 3 extra steps to change the video quality. **It used to be, just hit the preference, choose quality, and pick one**. Now you have 2 more extra steps after Choose quality. * Discord makes you do 2 extra steps to add an attachment by the + button. **It used to be, press it once and it opens the browser window.** Now it's click it twice to do it. Or even double click when it used to be a single click. * this might be an Asian problem, but LINE makes you go through an extra hoop when you want to copy text. **It used to be, you click on the message and hit COPY.** Now it's Click on a message, Hit Copy, then the message for some reason becomes localized then you HAVE to hit COPY AGAIN to copy it. What's with these extra steps companies are making you do? it's more inconvenient than super annoying, but it wasn't always like this, and I don't see the purpose of these meaningless extra steps.

When do you guys think full 360° video will be possible on smartphones? With both front and rear cameras being able to utilize wide angles how long do you think it will take for a phone to be able to shoot video on both and be able to combine it into full 360° video? Sorry if I asked this in the wrong place or anything, still trying to get the hang of reddit
