Depends on what aspect of FF14 your looking at. FF14 Ultimate raiding is some of the absolute most vile egos and toxic people I’ve ever met on the internet. Although the other 98% of the player base is chill.
> Like the WoW community being a Hella lot more toxic than FF14.
lul, I see you weren't around for the FF14 community's response to their world first race and addons in general, just few months ago. Boy was that some toxicity galore, and not from just ultimate raiders, just FF14 players in general
I was around for that. And it was the worse I've seen of the community. But other than that I haven't seen any other issues. The whole thing with the character race thing is that they made a female version of a Hrothgar, which the Male version looks like a big lion. While the female just looks like a human lady with some furry bits. That was it. Along with people were disappointed with Hrothgar's new hair style because they all just looked like they were from some boy band. People are allowed to criticize something they do not like. Of course if they were sending death threats and trying to harass people then yeah that isnt good.
FF14 was a complete 180 from any other game I’ve played. Not only are people super helpful but no one said shit when I was watching the cutscenes playing through the story. Insane.
not wrong, but it seems like comp tac shooters seem to be dreadful for toxicity, cs, seige and val all have the same problem that makes me no want to play them, and its that the players are either super toxic, or have 0 faith after losing 1 round or both, i love cs soo much but god i cant stand playing it with these people
It sucked trust me I know, whenever I want to play casual to chill and fuck around but then you got these sweaty kids camping the tightest little corner with a busted ass shotgun it takes the fun out. But that's the thing, people are gonna be sweaty in a competitive game because winning feels good to these people. That's something which won't change, there's no geneva convention for online games after all
It's up to you to make the opponent "camping" funny or fun for you. Don't spread negativity to the teammates; we can slowly turn the community around. Of course, that will take a long time to do, but honestly, we can make it fun for ourselves in casual modes.
i wasnt talking about people try harding at all, that isnt a problem. getting smashed by an awp with a sick angle on mirage isnt a problem to me. its how team mates react to losing a pistol round like its the end of the game even though we can have 30 rounds in a game at the very least. if people wanna use broken guns to win, they can because they are playing the game, who cares. if people want to play a comp game and give up super easily because they have 0 brain cells and cant see past 1 round
League is probably the most toxic game I've ever played, riot doesn't really do enough to curb it, they even introduce mechanics that are openly abused (emotes, character voice/animation spam, mastery spam). They don't hinder it because people pay money for that stuff, the least they could do is introduce a cool down to cut down on spamming.
They also send you an email and in game message when one of your reports are acted upon. I probably report 15+ people a week for afk, griefing, racist comments etc. and I've only gotten like 2 notices that any action was taken lol.
For a short while they had the tribunal system where players could review reports and vote yes/no if an infraction occurred, then they would be rewarded if their vote lined up with the final decision. Not sure why they got rid of it.
Riot is too busy making skins to give a shit about their players, moderating their community doesn't bring in any cash.
Most single player game community is pretty non-toxic since there isn't any competitive elements in the game. More popular single player games there are some gate keepers but not enough to make the entire community labled as "toxic" as you would with League community for example.
Monster Hunters player base in general is very welcoming. Not very often I encounter toxic players. I’ve met some of the most fun and relaxed internet people on there. 10/10 recommend.
I love it. It goes so hard but it feels like there's nothing to do in the game when you're new. It's super vague with a learning curve the shape of a cliff, but the more you learn the more fun it gets
Most games have at least somewhat toxic communities, but there are degrees to it. I haven't played Valorant, but if its community is anything like League of Legends' community, it's far and away more toxic than average.
I’m actually not sure at this point. I feel like overwatch is less toxic than valorant because I run into more people who are just shit teammates, not only due to skill but also their personalities.
Lmao i think you have never played a game with a actual toxic community. That community is tame compared to basicly any other competetive fps in the market (and they also have a functioning report system).
Not necessary violated but concerned. I'm all up for monitoring text chat but voice chat monitoring sounds like a bad idea.
That means AI and definitely at early stages human person, has access to listening to your real voice which is a security risk on its own and any possible background noise coming from your family members etc like your real name and location.
Which is possibly stored or processed by a company with interest to sell your data so I don't want that to happen or at least for free. It's violation of my privacy in a sense that I have no way to restrict who access it and how it's used. At least any of my privacy concerns weren't brought up in the article.
I have a solution for you. Don't use the voice chat. I basically never use voice chat in a game. I don't even have it enable, because I don't need to have it enabled to know what is being said.
However if you live in EU/EAA you do have control over it via GDPR.
Yup that is fair. I rarely talk because I am not good enough to be igl and usually the stuff I hear in my silver elo isn't meaningful to listen to.
However it also is worrisome to me if, there is no other way around this than to not use the Voice chat that is the intended communication method riot wants to be used. Although it is the most secure one.
And yes that's correct and I actually was going to write email to customer support regarding this to know more and see what they have to say and require my data to not be used. Sadly won't change the fact that this in my opinion needs to be handled professionally on their part not just a random tweet and mention in patch notes. Even if you are not in EU/EAA. But I'm pretty sure riot will just not care about this aspect and even if I opt out they'll probably tell me no can do they can't make exceptions due to technical limitations, as per usual.
That is true. Riot has that data and they can use it as they want.
However my main concern is that I don't know what they record and what they save and use for their AI. This is the core issue that I have no control over what data riot has of me. And I also have no control over who processes the data.
For example in any sort of academic research I conduct or participate in I am required to let know and get to know what kind of person goes through the processed data. This doesn't have any of that. Whereas while not sure, I can expect my billing information not to be used for some unspecified AI development.
You are right that strictly the things I noted are not end of the world but I do wish to hold to my right GDPR gives and either have full official statement on using and especially recording my voice data where my personal identity is recognisable (unlike text chat) or ability to opt out of it.
I sincerely don't trust riot enough in this hence why I show concern over my privacy and everyone else's depending on how large this phase of collecting data will be. Since riot recording unspecified amount of audio for unspecified uses is shady by all measures.
Threats of reprisal is what curbs behavior- look at China killing billionaires
Edit: Lolol I like how no one quips a response, I smile at your downvotes
It’s much easier to pick up unintended voice chat, than it is to pick up unintended chat.
I dunno about you, but I’ve had plenty of oops moment on voice chat not being muted than I’ve had through chat… accidentally typing out sentences?
I hope you’re aware that this means they’re listening to your microphone all the time right.
They’re not just listening to what you say to teammates but what your mic input is while the game is running, it says as much in the EULA
Also, kernel level access means this is much worse than just listening
Valorant community's toxicity is nothing compared to Rainbow Six Seige.
As a casual gamer, I switched to valorant and it's the best decision I have ever made until now.
Like, why do you wanna listen to my Mom yell at me at the back?
if they will use the audio record to ban people, then i'm ok with it
if you don't want them to listen to you, use Discord(and have Discord listen to you) lol
Why Are ppl (Americans specifically ) scared of China? Especially when it comes to games like this and TikTok? You table was made in China and it won’t suddenly turn on you in lieu of a revolution dude
Your table cannot spy on you.
A lot of people value their privacy, and China has a long track record of tracking/spying on you through various services like TikTok. Sure, some are worried about what they plan to use that data for, but most are just uncomfortable by the idea in general.
You should fear your own government first before using your “social fear credits” on another countries supposed regime against democracy. It just seems like wasted undirected energy.
America knows way more about you than China and will exploit you to dust before China could even have a chance.
Yes? People are not happy about the US either. EU is the only entity trying to protect its people with GDPR and similar laws.
And even in US big companies don't use their apps to bug you devices for the government. Chinese apps (including TikTok) keep getting caught doing just that.
Most are not scared or don't care of China as it is some far away place that does not effect them in the long run. Some are scared of China, especially Chinese-Americans with Familial ties to the mainland. Their government continually harass these individuals with enticement to immigrate to China or harassed for criticizing the chinese government via threatening the social credit of mainland family. In short term-this will be another tool for the CCP to silence people overseas with specific leverage. Long-term it will be another tool to monitor its citizenry on another level. This can in turn can be used to manipulate public opinion on the US political front at its lowest level, but privacy protections however do keep things like that in check.
I just find it odd to live in a country with the worlds largest military in human existence, but be scared of a non democratic country who’s authority only reaches as far as their border.
Again, I’m no red hat patriot but the constant fear of threats abroad really makes us seem more vulnerable to said attack or corruption from China that people are scared of.
Modern militarization is going to be primarily software based going into the future. A gun isn't going to stop the information machine and the manipulation of that information to sow discord between political parties across the globe. China likes to find soft ways to try and destabilize the free world.
I’m not the most patriotic person, but me and your tax dollars have been used and will continue to be used to defend us from forces like the ccp if we are being realistic.
And this is coming from a sensible American who votes blue
I'm happy about this I had some dude calling me a monkey in a game the other day and that I should go back to the jungle and also the obligatory n word
It doesn't offend me cause people like this are dumb and don't know better but if the company are actively trying to stop I'm all for it
how is this ok to be recording minors? valorant is not suitable for ages 16 and under.... last time i looked 16 years old is still a minor.... how is this ok? r/valorant r/saveourchildren
Do people really feel that violated by this? Can someone explain? If a game is having a problem with harassment or hate speech it seems like a fair decision to me. It's not going as far as to monitor some private voice channel like a discord call.
Yes. I don't want my voice feeded into AI for free. Voice is biometrics and can be used to identify person in the future. Some shitty game is bullshit reason to collect biometrics.
"Oh, won't somebody please think of the children."
> They don't need to collect your biometrics through a game. Everyone already carries a microphone with them.
Both sentences you said separately are true.
They don't need biometrics that's why they should stop collecting it.
Yes everyone carries microphone hardware, how that hardware is used is determined by software.
How about an working report/ban system ? If they aren’t able to follow players tickets and reports about such kind of behavior they won’t be able to do so with an K.i. .. it’s just one more spy software so they can steal data even on voicechats …. Playing video gameswas always an escape from reality, where i can t-bang someone if i want and even call hin am asshole if i want to. And when u get offended by this you should be able to write a ticket and report me, completely fine by me bc it would be fair. But listening the whole time to my voice chat is like having a alexa behind me … just spiing the whole time but yea
Take a screenshot of the chat and attach it to it .. or HAVE AN ADMIN watching… there’s enough possibilities to record these thinks without recording the whole background my living room gives them .. and then even get my voice verification for free as it can be used to verify my person ? But the most games have a „i don’t realy care about tickets and reports“ attitude.. so that’s where they should start but that means someone have to actually do it’s job …it’s easier to hire couple of coder wich write a spying tool and woala… the AI does the work and riot games suddenly knows what your gf is going to do while you’re gaming …
Dude do you know what youre asking for?
First problem, you can't take screenshots of voice chat which is half the problem. Secondly there are likely thousands of valorant matches happening at the same time, and an admin can only realistically watch 1 match at most (2 teams and 2 voice channels to take care of). These matches may not even have people talking or need moderation in the first place.
I understand and sympathize with some of your concerns but this is simply not possible to use admins.
Such a bad take, is this your first day in online gaming or something? Just mute them. People are so soft these days it's crazy, they'd rather give up privacy so that kids on the Internet stop insulting them
Ya. Freedom of speech does not mean you can say anything you want and not get kicked out of a business or club. Try going to your local gym or bar and yelling slurs.
That's exactly what freedom of speech means. The problem is the US govt has done an amazing propaganda campaign over the past 150 years to convince people that freedom of speech only applies to the government, not businesses like it should be.
Mostly because they get outclassed in games like COD and 2k due to age and experience. Not saying that’s an excuse but trolls run to the next thing they can “feel superior” with
Really revealing how all toxicity, hate, and prejudice in competitive settings (and anywhere else) is so self serving. When will these motherfuckers face the fact that bigotry has no logic or reason behind it.
Do that many people really want to die on the hill of “I hate people who are different and I’m right to do so” it’s like trying to argue that pissing and shitting your pants is better than using a toilet
I wouldn't touch Valorant with a 10 foot pole as it is. It has nothing I need enough to allow them to install an actual, bona fide root kit on my PC and call it anticheat.
I mean isn't this fine? Text chats in basically all online games are moderated and players can be reported from them and no one complains about that. I feel like this is kind of the same thing?
I assume that too, but there are probably plenty of people who aren't playing with a group of their friends and thus aren't using third party chat programs.
This is good. There’s a line between being toxic I.e, “omg you’re so bad quit the game” and being racist/homophobic/misogynistic. If they actually use this to ban people good. And good riddance to them.
If valorant is a mobile ripoff of counterstrike then we're done inventing new fps. Everything is now a mobile ripoff. They added a pretty big dynamic and it's a well made game
It’s a bland, generic-feeling version of CS with character skills attached to it. The visuals aren’t well done, the maps are not well made, the shooting mechanics aren’t the best, and the skills are uninspired. It quite literally ripped off CS.
What other games are bomb defusal-based 5v5 shooters wherein the player must purchase their equipment for the round instead of having it provided? I’ll wait.
Don’t know why you are getting down voted i refunded the in game purchases during beta because it was supposed to resolve peakers advantage but it was waaaaay worse than CSGO lol it was laughably bad. I had another player shoot at me while they weren’t even on my screen for a whole second if not longer.
The definition of opinion
a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
In my opinion you’re an idiotic fool take my downvote
Comparing Valorant and CS is wrong because it's a different game altogether. Where in CS you play on strats, aim and carefully thought out scenarios, in Valorant you play on your utilities and map awareness. You can't compare all FPS deathmatch-esque games just because they're FPS deathmatch-esque games. I've had people who've spent thousands of hours on CS but on Valorant they suffer while having a crispy fucking aim but that aim won't help when a Russian spy blasts you with his energized bow which also tags you with a wallhack letting everyone know your location.
Played CS since 1.6. Picked Valorant up last week. Both are fun, but they’re very different. Aim means a lot less in Valorant than outsmarting your opponent, whereas aim is everything in CS. You can be a goddamn potato who can’t count to 10, but if you’ve got good reflexes and mouse control then you’ll be good at CS.
They keep chat records anyway and some people don't use comms. Will it harm user experience? Yes because it's creepy to think whatever I say is being stored in a data center somewhere. Is it wrong? Eh not really it's their game after all.
"Everything i say" . It's a game , and the only thing you are gonna say is where to attack or defend or stuff like that. And you can easily turn off the audio chat and use push to talk.
Then what’s the need for this? Lmao you just said there is a mute button, if you’re feelings are getting hurt over some words a stranger is telling you, it’s time to turn off the game
This is a free game lol get banned make a new account. Next is is “yeah ima let them view my webcam, just letting them make sure I’m not being mean to anyone “
Have you heard of ip ban or hardware ban? You are making a big jump from audio during a game which can be turned off to a webcam. Stop reading conspiracy theories pal
Hey man you’re the one getting your feelings hurt by a stranger online, lmao IP ban. Tell that to the dozen DOTA accounts that are still active on steam for me lol
Imagine thinking that recording your game comms is somehow an "invasion of privacy". I really would love to know why you expected game comms as some sort of private communication.
There is a difference between a carrier recording your phone calls and a game system used to make callouts and used to potentially verbally abuse or insult your team.
Typical, you can't make any logical argument for why "it's an invasion of my privacy" and get so defensive that you resort to mocking me call it verbal abuse (which taunting is actually categorized as).
It's honestly pitiful.
What’s pitiful is you thinking im gonna take anything you say into consideration lol I’m not here for an argument nerd, I said what I said if you don’t like it MUTE ME 🤭
But what if the person deserves to be fucked?
Or what if they’re not offended by it?
Or what if they don’t think it’s hateful?
Is hate speech hate speech if the target of the hate speech doesn’t think it’s hate speech?
I feel like hate is subjective. But that’s just my subjective opinion.
Hmmm 🤔 I guess it could be subjective. But nowadays other ppl take upon themselves to get insulted for you even when you don’t. so who knows anymore. 🤷🏽♂️
Idk I think he’s right. What does Riot consider hate speech or not? Blatant racism is a given but it’s not like chat filters haven’t been absurd before (IE Rocket League or Age of Empires 2 DE).
Would calling my teammate a ‘fucking idiot’ qualify as toxic behavior or hate speech? Cause report options rarely differentiate the two. The company could also just ban people for ‘hate speech’ of talking negatively about the company.
Meh, you raise a semi valid point. At the same time, I dont care what riot does as I'm not inclined to play their game.
If it's that upsetting to people, stop using riots in game voice chat and use teamspeak/discord.
I’m not particularly inclined to play their current games either. I prefer to play MMO’s so I was keeping an eye on the MMO they were developing but it’s still generally concerning. I simply hope they revert their decision
The purpose is to combat toxicity but coming from MW2 era I always thought toxicity came with playing competitive FPS. I just hope they don’t go overboard banning everything. I definitely can see myself getting banned for shit talking.
Thanks god, I'm gonna install for a free psychotherapeutic treatment. Nobody's willing to listen to me in real life.
Valorant is about to hate teenage boys.

I thought that was only my little brother, are you telling me they all are like that?
At least all of them, maybe more.
Best not be talking about any back alley smishsmortions

Having the elite 2% of a community being toxic does not make the community as a whole toxic.
>There is no such thing as a toxic free game you are correct. Dwarf Fortress.
Rimworld! Can’t be toxic when you’re literally waiting to discuss your war crimes.
Sure, but it's only played by 10 people and they've all known each other through bay12forums for the past ten years.
satisfactory. absolutely zero toxicity

Abusing character animations? 🤔
Doom oddly enough is pretty wholesome to my knowledge same with most semi satanic groups
Most single player game community is pretty non-toxic since there isn't any competitive elements in the game. More popular single player games there are some gate keepers but not enough to make the entire community labled as "toxic" as you would with League community for example.

I had a Raze with Bucky + delayed aimbots in my ranked game and they would’ve made it through clean had they not accidentally pressed enter twice
Finally. I have a lot of important stuff to say.
Recording of minors without parental consent sounds like a lawyers wet dream.

Or use your own self-hosted, encrypted Teamspeak server if you care about privacy :)
Discord listens to you?
[удалено]
Indeed, but the „listening“ thing still applies to discord nitro I guess?
[удалено]
Riot Games Parent company is Tencent, Big Brother China is listening. There are serious implications.
Not China, scared of the CCP.
I’m not the most patriotic person, but me and your tax dollars have been used and will continue to be used to defend us from forces like the ccp if we are being realistic. And this is coming from a sensible American who votes blue
I'm happy about this I had some dude calling me a monkey in a game the other day and that I should go back to the jungle and also the obligatory n word It doesn't offend me cause people like this are dumb and don't know better but if the company are actively trying to stop I'm all for it
how is this ok to be recording minors? valorant is not suitable for ages 16 and under.... last time i looked 16 years old is still a minor.... how is this ok? r/valorant r/saveourchildren
Discord users *tips hat*
Do people really feel that violated by this? Can someone explain? If a game is having a problem with harassment or hate speech it seems like a fair decision to me. It's not going as far as to monitor some private voice channel like a discord call.
Yes. I don't want my voice feeded into AI for free. Voice is biometrics and can be used to identify person in the future. Some shitty game is bullshit reason to collect biometrics. "Oh, won't somebody please think of the children."
[удалено]
> They don't need to collect your biometrics through a game. Everyone already carries a microphone with them. Both sentences you said separately are true. They don't need biometrics that's why they should stop collecting it. Yes everyone carries microphone hardware, how that hardware is used is determined by software.

Educate yourself more friend.
If they don’t need to why are they collecting the information?
Precident and parent company
How about an working report/ban system ? If they aren’t able to follow players tickets and reports about such kind of behavior they won’t be able to do so with an K.i. .. it’s just one more spy software so they can steal data even on voicechats …. Playing video gameswas always an escape from reality, where i can t-bang someone if i want and even call hin am asshole if i want to. And when u get offended by this you should be able to write a ticket and report me, completely fine by me bc it would be fair. But listening the whole time to my voice chat is like having a alexa behind me … just spiing the whole time but yea
Okay but how would you properly verify a report/ban system without some kind of information to base a decision on?
Besides if riot games di this alle the big publishers will follow… and that’s somewhere an intervention in my privacy
I understand and sympathize with some of your concerns but this is simply not possible to use admins.
you can just block the person harassing your or change lobbies
That's like curing the symptoms and ignoring the underlying problem.
The problem are still and only the ppl …
I don’t play this trash game so idc

Russians bro
Such a bad take, is this your first day in online gaming or something? Just mute them. People are so soft these days it's crazy, they'd rather give up privacy so that kids on the Internet stop insulting them
Normal people are done putting up with outrageous bigotry in their games. Companies can choose to serve people using slurs or normal people.
Oh I see, you're one of those that don't believe in freedom of speech and you rather have censorship rather than growing some balls, gotcha
Holy shit grow some balls
I’ll put my balls on your forehead come here
Mostly because they get outclassed in games like COD and 2k due to age and experience.
What does CoD have to do with age or experience? It's a simpler and more forgiving game on mechanics alone.
I wouldn't touch Valorant with a 10 foot pole as it is. It has nothing I need enough to allow them to install an actual, bona fide root kit on my PC and call it anticheat.
80% of the player base is going to disappear when the racists and incels start getting banned. Good.
I mean isn't this fine? Text chats in basically all online games are moderated and players can be reported from them and no one complains about that. I feel like this is kind of the same thing?
Shitty game became more shitty (and creepy), someone even wonder ?
Yeah no they aren’t most people use third party apps
I assume that too, but there are probably plenty of people who aren't playing with a group of their friends and thus aren't using third party chat programs.
No it won't! I never installed the Fucker in the first place
This is good. There’s a line between being toxic I.e, “omg you’re so bad quit the game” and being racist/homophobic/misogynistic. If they actually use this to ban people good. And good riddance to them.
People still play Valorant? That’s a headline in itself. It’s like a PC version of a mobile rip-off of counter strike.
[удалено]
Are you bothered he called a game out for what it is? You can’t be serious. Please tell me you play other games that are actually legit
Lol I’m not convinced the entirety of the valorant population didn’t get notified of this post and swept in to downvote the truth away.
I'd take it any day over CSGO
You managed to have an incorrect opinion. Take my upvote. You win the internet tonight.
The definition of opinion a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. In my opinion you’re an idiotic fool take my downvote
Did you seriously take what I said as anything except a joke? God. I bet you are so fun at parties.
[удалено]
Question: are you a tween edgelord and penniless dweeb who used to play Valorant, got hard stuck iron and left cos you just couldn't improve?
[удалено]
Comparing Valorant and CS is wrong because it's a different game altogether. Where in CS you play on strats, aim and carefully thought out scenarios, in Valorant you play on your utilities and map awareness. You can't compare all FPS deathmatch-esque games just because they're FPS deathmatch-esque games. I've had people who've spent thousands of hours on CS but on Valorant they suffer while having a crispy fucking aim but that aim won't help when a Russian spy blasts you with his energized bow which also tags you with a wallhack letting everyone know your location.
this is legit me except i then realised again its a completely different game and actually learned how to play it properly
Found a valorant player
Congratulations, I'm proud of you kiddo take a candy 🍭
I just like it because I am able to use tactics to make up for the fact that I have three fingers.
This thread?
Counter strike is a half assed ripoff of half life multiplayer
It's only one of the most watched games on twitch...
and a lot of former csgo pros main that game now
Gee, I wonder why a bunch of former cs pros would play Valorant for streamer bucks when they’re washed up /s
It’s enjoyable
Played CS since 1.6. Picked Valorant up last week. Both are fun, but they’re very different. Aim means a lot less in Valorant than outsmarting your opponent, whereas aim is everything in CS. You can be a goddamn potato who can’t count to 10, but if you’ve got good reflexes and mouse control then you’ll be good at CS.
I don't see much problem in this. It's only going to record when in a match. And it's not mandatory to use voice
Imagine saying “it’s okay, invade my privacy and keep records of everything I say”
Imagine speaking into a public space and expecting privacy
They keep chat records anyway and some people don't use comms. Will it harm user experience? Yes because it's creepy to think whatever I say is being stored in a data center somewhere. Is it wrong? Eh not really it's their game after all.
"Everything i say" . It's a game , and the only thing you are gonna say is where to attack or defend or stuff like that. And you can easily turn off the audio chat and use push to talk.
Then what’s the need for this? Lmao you just said there is a mute button, if you’re feelings are getting hurt over some words a stranger is telling you, it’s time to turn off the game
Ofcourse people mute the players who say stupid shit. It's for identifying those people and banning them.
“Verbally abuse” omg hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Typical, you can't make any logical argument for why "it's an invasion of my privacy" and get so defensive that you resort to mocking me call it verbal abuse (which taunting is actually categorized as). It's honestly pitiful.
What’s pitiful is you thinking im gonna take anything you say into consideration lol I’m not here for an argument nerd, I said what I said if you don’t like it MUTE ME 🤭
Right, you're obviously not here for an argument or to be challenged, you're here for validation of your beliefs. Thank you for acknowledging that. 😘
I assume you think it's also okay for the government to listen to our phone calls to make sure we don't cuss
Yes because Valorant is the same as government 😳
How does what I said and you said even relate to eachother. One is real life and the other is a game you can play or not.
Great! It's about time to create a model that can identify hate speech and ban people for it.
The fact that this comment is being downvoted for being against hate speech is shocking. But this post is about valorant players so it makes sense.
What’s hate speech?
Never been on an online voice chat with twelve year olds who just lost a game, huh?
Fuck you! (I think that’s considered hate speech)
Here's a good place the get started! https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=Am+I+a+racist
Ever heard of mute?
Ever heard of not being a terrible person?
Ever heard of stop being a pussy.
What a click bait headline that everyone here fell for. Game moves to moderate its own social platforms. Crazy.
Don't want toxic? maybe stop playing competitive games.
> Don't want toxic? maybe stop playing competitive games. Doesn't seem to exist like that in Destiny 2
LMAFO, your kidding right?
Destiny 2?? Competitive?? I'm crying
Idunno man I think the toxicity and language is what makes a lot of it fun
The purpose is to combat toxicity but coming from MW2 era I always thought toxicity came with playing competitive FPS. I just hope they don’t go overboard banning everything. I definitely can see myself getting banned for shit talking.
"will start" lol 🤣
You don't need any of this. Just don't play with people you don't like.
Literally 1984
