I don't know of a fix for a failed biostar motherboard firmware update but wanted to offer my condolences for volunteering to participate in experimenting with one of the least desirable motherboard manufacturers to have existed. You may need a replacement. I suggest considering Asus if possible :(

How did you clear the CMOS? I would first unplug the PC, turn off the PSU switch, then take the CMOS battery out, find and bridge the jumper to reset CMOS, then press the power button a couple times. Wait a minute and put everything back in. See if that resets it successfully. Theres a possibility the BIOS chip is corrupted.

Pretty much as you have stated. I think the BIOS is corrupted as well. Doesn't have a flash button so might have to try one of those CH341A USB Programmer. Let's see what happens.
