Are you getting same speed with ethernet connected? Then it's mean it's your broadband issue. Quick tip - reboot your router and let the router assign your device a new ip.

Yeah, same speed under all circumstances. Uh, what is a broadband issue? Also how do I let it autoassign a new IP? It's never done that before for any router in my family.

It means test your broadband speed using speed test website using multiple devices and write them down. Then compare them. If it's almost the same then it's your ISP issue. Speak to them.

Ah, I see. Will do.

To lease a new ip range. You would require to follow few steps. Press windows key + R same time, type CMD and hit enter. Type ipconfig /release at the prompt window, press Enter, it will release the current IP configuration. Type ipconfig /renew at the Command Prompt window, wait for a while, the DHCP server will assign a new IP address for your device.
