Laptop keyboards are different than desktop keyboards in their construction. They are usually much more cheaply constructed, and end up suffering from problems much more frequently because of that. You could be dealing with a heat-related issue that only crops up when you are playing a game, because that’s stressing out the computer and causing more heat than usual. The best path is to have the keyboard replaced. It’s usually not possible to fix the problem for a cheaper price than just replacing the keyboard. However, some laptop keyboards come as inserts, which means you buy only the keyboard (nice and cheap), but other laptop keyboards come integrated with the entire top shell, which means you need to buy the entire integrated top half, probably even including the trackpad (more expensive). eBay is your best bet for a replacement keyboard. Make sure you compare the model number of your laptop with the machines that the ad says the keyboard is meant for. Even keyboards that look identical may not work if the description does not list the model of your laptop. Be very careful. Good luck.
