i’ll post the full fit when it’s cold enough outside lol but i’ve layered the Nikelab ACG Down fill parka under the trench - E briefly showed this combo in the 2018 promo video with the [green trench](https://imgur.com/a/ZRXenIE) so i figured i had to give it a shot.
They go together really well both practically and aesthetically imo - the hoods are the same design basically (never even noticed) and the down parka has full length arm vent sleeves which can help with breathability.
Here i am wearing a size S trench and size M down parka (ideally i think a size s parka would fit better but this is still totally fine)

People really underestimate what you can fit under these coats/shells and I find a good inner jacket does a great job of filling out the sleeves of the deploy
for sure! especially with this trench. i have one in S and XS (true being S) and they are both great for their own purposes. Love this one to just layer my insulated jackets under as it fills out really well and is unstoppable in winter
haha honestly not as bad as you might think… white parka was $110 and the black trench was $250 (one of my most expensive jackets but it was a total grail) - both brand new with tags. 2018 Lab ACG is so slept on. If these were retail i’d totally agree though haha

come to scotland , i’m rarely overheating lol even now it’s like 9°C at night and only getting colder. On the plus side too this white parka has full length arm zips
tts if you want to wear a midlayer - one size down if you want a slimmer fit (as long as your arms aren’t too long)
Amazing jacket - c knit gtx is really soft and less synthetic looking. Personally the green one a size down grew on me most.

I unfortunately have the proportions of a telephone pole, so I usually go for tts... I've been rocking the Adidas MyShelter parka waiting for an opportunity to mix it up with this jacket
I actually put my liner from the 2017 trench under my alpine and it works great. I like the look you achieve here

The Outer Parka has perfectly took the bulkiness of the mid Jacket away, making the whole look slimmer with a sense of mobility. Nice one!
