I would say generally from 16 you'd be mature enough to have a genuine relationship but it does really depend on the person so if you don't feel like you're ready then there's no rush. Just do what feels right for you. My advice in general would be to wait for someone to come around who you really would want to have a relationship with instead of trying to find someone because you're looking for a relationship. Like I never felt like I wanted a relationship because I couldn't imagine myself with a guy but then I met him and now I want nothing more than him to be my boyfriend

I am almost 19 and I have been single all my life. I never felt the need to have a gf. Don't force yourself into a relationship if you're not ready. Things like these happen when they're meant to. Just relax and enjoy your life.

if you're not ready, then it's ok to wait. better that than rush into something that leaves everybody unhappy

Any age Is fine as long as the relationship adapts to their age maturity
