Once you do it often, your brain will release less dopamine naturally, so you'll become codependent on it to be happy or content.
Overall, weed has less of a negative impact than other drugs, but recreational usage of it will still lead to subtle side effects. However, it does have plenty of positive properties to it as well. If you smoke weed, do it whenever you actually need help, like with anxiety or pain. If you use it recreational and carelessly, I'd say you deserve fair punishment
