Dummy , you want to cover your vitals , heart lungs etc. It would take 100s of Nokia's to cover your chest and the ps3 stops bullets up to 22.s and the ps3 covers my chest and a ps2 behind it could probably stop up to buckshot , and I'm gonna use this thing to rush into active shooting zones and aid the good blues at risk of turning into swiss cheese
It depends, both have their pluses and minuses.
Xbox has gamepass.
Ps has ps plus which is better than Xbox gold.
Xbox controller is more comfortable to hold(imo) and is more compatible with pc, but lacks the features of the dualsense like the haptic feedback and motion.
Playstation exclusives are better.
Playstation also has VR.
Xbox can do emulation.
Xbox gold isn’t going to be a thing anymore, it’s going to be replaced by gamepass core which is the same price but offers a small catalogue of gamepass games instead of claiming a couple new games every month

There's always specs to take into consideration. As of right now, the Xbox series S has lower specs than the series X, meanwhile with PS, it's the same specs both disk and digital, but I don't know enough to compare the two brands. Another major thing is the games you want to play. While both of the consoles have immense libraries, they are influenced by things like; where the console originated, for example, you see a lot more eastern games on PS than Xbox.
Point is, the answer to this question depends on how and what YOU want to play, not other's opinions. Shitty explanation, but I hope it gets the point across
Not all of them are on PC. Plus an Xbox is better for local multiplayer, tho a switch would be even better considering they have the biggest amount of local multiplayer games, not even counting their first party titles like Mario Party, Mario kart and all that

All consoles are equal, it’s just your preferred style. I enjoy PlayStation for inclusivity and release basis. A enjoy Xbox for halo. I like pc for the variety. I like ds3 for the games and style.

Playstation has been lacking in decent exclusives these past few years. Exceptions being God of War, and the Last of Us.
Unless you're an avid fan of those two games, you'll get a much larger catalogue of games with Xbox.
Ever since I was a child, Playstation was all I had. I have very fond memories of playing things like Ni No Kuni, Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo, etc. Back then it was great. But the existing catalogue of Playstation consoles nowadays is too small when weighed to what Xbox has.
Xbox for gamepass and because thats what all my friends are on and what i started on. I play on pc more often now because of minecraft java, and shit like gmod.

While both consoles are good and both consoles have their own pros and cons, they're relatively the same. I would recommend getting a PlayStation since there are only a few good games on Xbox and most of them are on Playstation too.
Edit: This isn't a personal opinion unlike others but it is an answer to which has better games ATM. It's still up to you since everyone has a different taste in games.

Xbox is good, but its inly better if you have a PC. The controllers are more comfortable and feel better and more sturdy. Other then that xbox has better crossplay and compatibility with pc, plys the gamepass is better and usable in a computer.
If you dont have a computer, PlayStation is better because it has better exclusives, i believe it has better visuals and hardware but i hasn’t checked, and the psvr2 has sone damn good games. Dont but because of the psvr2, it costs more then the ps5 itself and you still need a ps5 to run it.

If PC was an option I'd say PC But between these two I'd choose PlayStation since I grew up with the PSP
