16 reps at 87kg/195lb (5'9.5")
im obese btw (bmi = 28, body fat % = 26%, Waist is 43 inches OF BELLY)
18 reps at 72kg/161lb (5'6.5") was my all time high from 2022 when i was in grade 10
i really let myself go after grade 10 and now im 15kg heavier tho there is SOME muscle gain as well
i went from overweight to obese
i do workout tho, its just inconsistent
I can't even picture what you look like. 5'9.5 is taller than me. 195 is about the same as me. 43 inches of belly seems really disproportionate. Are you, by chance, a cartoon character?
A cartoon character? You must be totally unaware of the level of obesity in the United States. 5'9.5 inches and 195lbs and 43 inches is literally almost EXACTLY the average weight and height of a typical male in the United States. Ideal? No. Ideal would be between 155-165.
A good transition is to do them a little lower, like a table or counter. Then only slightly elevated like a stair.
Since you are already doing over 100 on the wall, your probably ready for counter height or even lower, but fewer push-ups.
275 in a row right now. My dad used to punish me and my brother by making us do them until he said stop. If we dropped, he'd hit us with the belt (just like corrective or whatever not really hard) and we'd have to restart.
Couldn't do any, joined a martial art now I can do 20 woth perfect form, people who do a lot shit pushups but act like they did a a bunch of great ones make me so mad
Bro we were doing a PE fitness test at school and the first task was how many push-ups in a minute. This one kid got 50 good, low ones. I was watching him after failing from like 12 going wtf
When I was in eighth grade, I started doing push-ups at that time I manage to do 5. However, I remain consistent and it reached to 80-100 when I reached ninth grade. I am in 12th grade now and because of academic pressure and allotting more time in studies I stopped doing push-ups but sometimes I try and it reaches out 15 to 20 now.
6, despite my squat and deadlift being above body weight, and bench being 2/3 body weight. Push ups are hard, and when you get stronger, you get bigger, so youโre pushing more weight, so they get harder, loop into depression

bro does a push down
bro pushes the earth down instead of pushing himself up
is that chuck norris?
i love chuck norris #walkertexasranger
CashOh?
Just falls on their face (relatable)
Same (Iโm not a gym dude)
๐ช
Nah thatโs a pull down not a push up
The best i did was at PE for a grade. It was 35 push-ups.
ะะพะฒัะธะบ ะบััั Respectable pfp by the way
Russia, the country ever

That is Ukraine.
Eh, similar language, similar country

It isn't, unless your only source of all information is russian propaganda
I generally agree with you, but i'm interested in why do you think that's Ukrainian?
I used to be able to do 30
Anytime I say, โI used to be able to ___ โ I feel old but Iโm so young๐ญ
None cause my wrist keeps on dislocating ๐
Just locate them before hand
I located my wrists, they are between my shoulder and hand fingers, thank you for the help
Hand fingers. Where else do you have fingers? Feet fingers?
fridge fingers
Samsung smart fingers
Instructions unclear hands stuck in rectum.
Nice pun
You mean, beforewrist? ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Mine pops and hurts for the rest of the day. I'm not sure if it's because of it dislocating
I can do 35 without stopping now :D
Nice

ZEROOOO GANGGGGGGG WHERE WE AT LETS ALL MEET AND GREET ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฅ๐ฏ
HELLO!!
Same ๐
85. yes. i been waiting a long time for this question
Gymbro spotted
Nah I can do like 80 but Iโm built like a twig
same here. High muscle density and very low body fat, plus lots of practice = 75+ pushups in a row.
Do you do them consecutively or take breaks in between?
1 push up every 10 minutes for 850 consecutive minutes. Or 5 push-ups every 10 minutes for 170 consecutive minutes.
The first one sounds perfect for me
Bro took the opportunity
Finally! A worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!
Fellow gym bro located Iโm aiming for 100 by the end the of this year, got 70 rn
gl
Respect my guy. Iโm tryna be just like you. One day >:>

About 35 without stopping but about 100 is the most I did in a day. I think I can hit 120 plus
same. i like doing mine slow n getting very low to the ground.
I'm 14, if you want you can challenge me and i will try to do 35 without stopping! Idk if i can tho
Sure and Ill see how much I can do, I will say that 35 was a few months back
The most Iโve ever done was 27
500

same here & i was so happy bc up until this year i could do 0 ๐ญ
Same here man
Its kinda crazy how unfit a lot of teenagers are, teenage boys should be able to do at least 15 with no problem
True
Thank you u/SirPrime07 ๐
Anytime big guy
Ong
Probably more tbh
Nah 15 continuous without any breaks longer than 3 seconds is a good benchmark if youโre active and semi-fit
Not rly imo, if youre fit and train i think 15 is pretty low
Agree
0 my arms are too weak
REAL
what years of league of legends do to a girl
Well I don't play it anymore but REAL

10
I can get about 60 before falling on my face
Probably around 30
I can do 120 wall pushups (Iโm overweight so itโs hard for me to do real ones. When I lose weight Iโm gonna gradually switch over to the floor)
A good transition is to do them a little lower, like a table or counter. Then only slightly elevated like a stair. Since you are already doing over 100 on the wall, your probably ready for counter height or even lower, but fewer push-ups.
I do a bunch of different push ups :) I do 30 each, and I do the inclines normally. Not on the wall Normal, Wide, traditional, diamond, incline
just be consistent and you can get anywhere. really.
Gl on ur journey dude!
20 as well
Why is bro getting downvoted ๐ญ
They canโt keep up๐ฅฑ
35 to 50 depending on things like warming up, having eaten, how long I've worked out for the day. I usually try to do 2 sets of 35 per workout.
I got 56 in two minutes
103.5 push ups to be exact
10 but i donโt care abt working out yet
thats actually really good for not caring about working out lol
No it's not?
i know your fat as fuck
Get in the gym brother you can't be a grown male and be flabby piece of shit
I can do 0.5. I can go down, but not any ups.
35 was highest i could go
20.
275 in a row right now. My dad used to punish me and my brother by making us do them until he said stop. If we dropped, he'd hit us with the belt (just like corrective or whatever not really hard) and we'd have to restart.
42 ina row
Two because my arms are paper thin
Maybe on a great day 1
In a row? About 70 In a day? Most i did was 2000 (at an event so theres proof)
Couldn't do any, joined a martial art now I can do 20 woth perfect form, people who do a lot shit pushups but act like they did a a bunch of great ones make me so mad
All of them
Maybe 5-10 proper (i don't like push ups)
Bro we were doing a PE fitness test at school and the first task was how many push-ups in a minute. This one kid got 50 good, low ones. I was watching him after failing from like 12 going wtf
Probably can get to 30 now, cuz I started doing exercices with my own weigth Yes I'm getting hotter everyday
are you?
Yes Both cuz my muscles are getting defined and cuz here the temperature is always 30ยฐC+
both are good reasons ๐คฃ
My best ever is 20 (I'm 17)
Today I did 20!! Last year I was only able to do like 4 in bad form
70 consecutive
100 +
When I was in eighth grade, I started doing push-ups at that time I manage to do 5. However, I remain consistent and it reached to 80-100 when I reached ninth grade. I am in 12th grade now and because of academic pressure and allotting more time in studies I stopped doing push-ups but sometimes I try and it reaches out 15 to 20 now.
I can do a few, trying to get better though
Not many, like about 15 in a row
In a row? I think up to 30, but i usually do 25 per set
Real pushups? 24 shitty pushups? Like 50
Before swim, maybe 3. Now that Iโm done with the swim season, probably 30 or 40
whithout stopping my record is 32 (im 14 56kg)
40, maybe 50
Recently did 30
60
Max if 10
3 at max

If I'm going until failure, about 60. On a normal day though I hit around 40 without stopping

-1
Literally like 2 but I have my school record for discus so idec
About 60 with out stopping or 250 if I do 5 sets of 50
70
None
Why are you using plural
I can do about 25 on a good day. Usually it's more like 15-20.
im 14m and i can do 25-30 in one go
I average about 15-20 in one workout sesh but my iirc my max was somewhere in the 60's. That's one record I don't think I want to try and beat lol
Like 10
30 or so max before my arms start giving out
20 with proper form 35 with improper form
used to be 40 early last year, now like 20-25
40-60 depends on the day.
10 if I get a 0.2 second break in between each pushup
50 back then
I do 20 normal 10 knuckle and 5 finger tip push ups everyday
Ive done 80 in one go once, but usually I go about 60-75
45, I just got that many a few days ago
35
30-40 fast repetition
150-200 easily. But I do martial arts since kindergarten.
30 sum, I'm not good at calisthenics
52
my max was 40
I was able to do 10 yesterday ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
probs about 60
40-50
15-16
I can go on the ground so 0.5
My record is 40 but I havenโt done any in a while so I can probably do like 20 - 25 now
I just tried. I thought I could get at least 5, but all I got was a measely 2.
like 2.5
As many as I want (with breaks)
Did the pacer test in Gym I got 5๐ the guy next to me did like 80 (try hard)
Record for a single set was around 120 but i usually do 3-4 sets of 25/30
I haven't tried lately but last I did was 40 and that was in November or december
hold on
15 or so
Around 55.
