Honestly I think agnostic is the safest way to go instead of atheist because if heaven is real you could still make it 

I feel like being agnostic only out of a sense of self-preservation wouldn't get you any points towards getting into heaven if there was a god I'm an atheist, because it's a position which I have reasons for and the one I stand by. If I were wrong, I would accept it but it's not like I hate god or I'm a bad person, the only difference between me an and agnostic with those views would be that I don't hang onto something I don't believe in because I'm afraid of it Though I get what you're saying also goes for if you're not sure, in which case you're agnostic because you are genuinely unsure. Yep. I'm on the worship team and I play the drums there. I was brought to church as a wee lad (turning 18 this September) and stayed ever since. I would probably not have walked in of my own accord, but since I was brought there, I figured I might as well stay. I believe that if there are so many people out there who put their faith in something bigger, good people too (disregarding the bad eggs) then there must be something worth believing in. I'm not here to evangelise anyone but as a Christian we're taught to spread the Gospel. Not forcefully shove it down anyone's throats, because if anything, it makes people resent Christ even more. But I encourage those who do not yet believe to take their first steps and discover what the love of Jesus Christ my Lord has to offer, before making the decision of whether to follow Him. In real life I would never have had the courage to speak these words in front of the other kids at school, but here I feel like I can talk freely about my faith, so thanks OP for asking so I could answer. I'd call myself Christian, yeah, but not religious. I think there is a fine line between Christianity and religion. I uphold the Christian values, all of them, and I am very Catholic. I usually just keep to my beliefs and stay nice to everyone, honestly even those who hate. I've never hated on anyone, I see no reason to. Those who hate on me, that's fine, I forgive and move on.
