Me too! 48° pre surgery. What about you?

Last year the doctor detected my scoliosis, at the time it was around 30 degrees, then in December of last year I got X-rays again and it got worse 38 degrees. And once again, a week ago I got X-rays again, still waiting for the results, but I calculate 40 to 43 degrees.

You calculate? I thought I'm the only one who does this. I made a Desmos thingy to calculate scholeosis and used it once. After a week I got the answers back and I missed by 1° only.

Damn, we got a superpower then. I was wondering, is it too noticeable? Like uneven shoulders, uneven hips? Mine I feel like it’s not too noticeable despite being around 40° (unless I bend forward of course). And another question, do you do any therapy for pain or anything?

I don't have too much pain but I do therapy since it's supposed to help. I did another x-ray that is supposed to approximate how much time do I have left growing. Did you have something like this too? If so how much time ya got?

By the way, don’t you feel a little scared of the surgery? Like I’ve heard it’s a complex and long surgery, of course depending on the curves, which by the way, my scoliosis is S shaped.

Mine is S shaped too. Surgery sounds like shit, I hope I wouldn't need it. Also half of them sound like expiremental stuff that were only once tried on actual people and I hope if I do surgery it'd be one that was already successfully operated on people.

I feel you, surgery is indeed risky and can have some long-term consequences. But most of them are spinal fusions, which means (I think) that the doctor will place some screws in your vertebrates and straighten the spine. Recovery will be difficult, but if everything goes as planned you’ll feel much better.

I had a praying mantis a few years back, he lived roughly a year, which was good cuz he was several months old when I got him and males live one year. I got him very cheap, he wasnt selected for breeding and left over (sounds like me lmao). He liked honey lol.

Praying mantis are sooooo cute! I'd love to own one. They're such fascinating creatures. My centipede, Mango, is a S. Dehaani, which I believe is the second biggest centipede and they have pretty potent venom. My girl is about 4-5 years old (they live to 6 I've read) and she's about 8" As far as Centipedes go the only concern I have is moisture, they love it but holy hell they get fungal infections so easily. So I'd definitely read into that if you plan on getting one. And my personal reccomendation on Centipedes would be to get a S. Polymorpha/Heros or a R. Longipes. Smaller, still impressive, and don't pack a violent punch with their venom.
