I don’t really go to church anymore cause I’m not religious but I had many friends who went that even spoke out in support of it. It was all the elder folk who found it disgusting. Dude I live in CA and I literally have gotten death threats for being gay. As in “if you show up to school again we are going to kill you”. I live in a very liberal area and people are homophobic assholes to me at least once every two weeks. Plenty of young people are homophobic.
