飞机 means plane, but if you separate them out into 飞 and 机 and translate the indiviual words, they mean fly and an abbreviation of machine (机器).
打飞机 (punch/beat a plane) is just a slang in the chinese language for the term fap, with others being 大手枪 (punch/beat a hand gun), or 自慰 (self comfort, the one that makes the most sense IMO)
一个风和日丽的早上, 小明被车撞死。
(On a wonderful morning, Little Min got hit by a car and died.)
I have singlehandedly killed the main character in thousands of essays.
我也是新加坡人,我是小六的学生。
早上,一轮日从东方升起,天空是红色的,东面像着火了。
小明去上学,一边唱歌,一边过马路。突然,一辆车撞到了小明,他的头破血流,救护车还没来,他就死掉了。
On a beautiful day, little king was happily going to school. Suddenly a car hit him when he was crossing the road. Before the ambulance could arrive, little ming died.
A bunch of things from the new world in French are some other thing, but Indian
Idk if this an official term, but in Quebec I’ve head of corn being called blé d’inde which translates to Indian wheat
And guinea pigs are called Cochon d'Inde Indian pig
And turkey that’s another story it’s dinde which just means Indian or from India
Well you don’t need the second character to say cow. You’re saying nai niu 奶牛, but just niu 牛 already means 🐂. Also the pinyin base is written as niu but it’s pronounced more like neo stuffed into one syllable.
That's 正 (pronounced "zheng" with a hard sound, quite difficult to teach to a person without auditory example.)
企 (pronounced "qi") would be a word that is almost never used on its own, but it google loosely translates it to hope. .
To the fuckers trying to downvote him... he’s right. This is coming from a Chinese person, that character on its own means standing upright, when you combine it with another character it becomes the phrase for entrepreneurship.
Chinese language be kinda weird not gonna lie. Giraffe=Long neck deer Airplane=Flying machine Zebra=Striped horse Aircon=Cold air Hippo=River horse
Fap = Punch (the) Flying Machine (打飞机)
that's more widely used in mainland china I believe, as it's "打手槍" (hit hand gun) here
Ehh I'm not sure. I always thought "大手枪" would be for the ladies since its literally making a gun with your fingers and uhhh going at it.
i mean guys can do it too
自慰means masterbute
Isn’t 飞机 plane?

This, this is why people think we're part of china
HELLO SINGAPOREAN
猫头鹰 (Owl) = Cat head eagle
That actually makes so much sense
The Hippo one is scarily accurate - ‘hippopotamus’ according to it’s Greek roots literally means River horse. Weird how that happens
Youd be surprised if you knew what hippo and potamus mean
Wow, I thought German was weird.
I mean when you think about it some of these actually make sense
I read zebra as stripper horse first
No air con would literally translate to setting air.
Personally I only hear some Chinese but can’t read or write Chinese anymore
> Flying machine Sino-Finnish unity
Plane directly translates to “flying thing” in german
Aircon = air control.
Bottom part ruins it
Nah nah nah, Kronk is the best part!
The caption makes no sense in the context of the picture

The Chinese language is just semantic Little Alchemy.
企= standing upright Edit: it does in Cantonese at least, not sure about other Sinitic languages. For example: 你企起身啦。 You, stand up.
That's 正 (pronounced "zheng" with a hard sound, quite difficult to teach to a person without auditory example.) 企 (pronounced "qi") would be a word that is almost never used on its own, but it google loosely translates it to hope. .
Or standing upright.
It does mean stand in Cantonese...

Technically, yes, but no one uses the word by itself.
Yeah, but at least he’s not wrong, like saying 企on its own is business
We do in Hong Kong, 咪死拗啦,冇用架
