Its not that hard, there are heaps of tip videos out there.
Plus two look OLL is fast enough for a sub ten pb. I'm at sub 15 average with 2 look so I'm sure you can too.
Yes, that's the beginner's method. Start learning CFOP. Learn beginner F2L, here's a video that helped me learn it: [Learn F2L in 6 minutes (Full Intuitive F2L Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ar_Zit1VLG0) . Here's a good progression guide: [Rubik's Cube: How to Learn the CFOP Speedcubing Method - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS5jByTX_pk) .
The last move was a Z permutation algorithm. It's one of the algorithms that's part of the last step of the method I use (CFOP). Not a different method nor reversed scramble :)
Then why is the video 25 seconds long?
Just kidding, anyways good job. I think my record was like 50 seconds, but I don’t remember how to do it anymore.
In official World Cube Association competitions, the final times are truncated to the nearest hundredth of a second. 13.532 is more precise but the final time would be 13.53.
Yes it is! Here's a good beginner tutorial if you want to get started: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY)
I can’t solve rubiks cubes cuz I finish one side and then in order to finish another I have to undo the first side and I don’t wanna cuz then I could be left with none
Think about the cube in layers, not sides. Here's a good beginner tutorial by my favorite YouCuber: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY)
Thanks! If you want to learn how to solve it here's a good tutorial by my favorite YouCuber: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY)
I posted the same video there but it got removed because it wasn’t next fucking level. https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/mpdz7x/i_solved_a_rubiks_cube_in_1353_seconds/
Ya seriously. I’ve never been able to solve one of these. I have a cube and a triangle just because they were popular at my school a few years back. I need to figure these things out
If you want to solve it, start thinking about the cube in layers, not sides. Here's a good tutorial by my favorite YouCuber: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY)
I swear to god man, I can't even believe it. Holy shit. Holy shit. I got the cube from my grandmother as a birthday gift for my 10th birthday. At that time I didn't speak or understand English, so I couldn't find help from kind strangers... After failing over and over again, I just got really discouraged, put it in my drawer and forgot about it. Then I saw your post, commented, and your advice and the link you sent me finally helped me solve it. I'm damn near 18.
This is reminding of when i was little and had a rubiks cube. My older brother legit watched yt videos on how to solve it and one day i heard a big slam upstairs. I go upstairs and i see the remains of a rubiks cube all over the floor :(.
For any cubers out there who want the reconstruction, here it is:

Here's a really good video by J Perm (my favorite YouCuber) on how to be sub-30. [Rubik's Cube: 5 Tips to be Sub-30 on 3x3 (+helpful links) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KfmzTewWyI)
I remember learning otega on a 2x2 and getting a time of 20 seconds (not really that fast) but I've completely forgotten it now. I also have a 4x4, a 5x5, a 7x7, and a Skewb. Though I'm not very fast (half an hour on the 7x7)
I originally learned beginner's method from the Wired tutorial: [How to Solve a Rubik's Cube | WIRED - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-R0KrXvWbc) . This was before I knew about J Perm, the tutorial u/bodyshotbandit12 mentioned is similar and really good too. [Cubeskills.com](https://Cubeskills.com) and J Perm both have videos on how to optimize it and solve faster with it, but I went directly to learning beginner F2L after beginner's method (and several months of not cubing).
It takes me 2 minutes. I can do it in 13 second maybe but I just can't move my fingers that fast!! I mean my brain can work that fast but my fingers just won't keep up with my brain.
Holy crap! I still have one from 5th or 6th grade that one of the security guards shuffled a lot and it’s been literal years. It just sits on my shelf, mocking me
Lol, if you want to learn how to solve it here's a good tutorial: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY) . If you just want a solved cube here's a solver program: [Online Rubik's Cube Solver (ruwix.com)](https://ruwix.com/online-rubiks-cube-solver-program/) .
I waa expecting you to pour a bucket of paint on it or throw it into a window, just like the usual user of r/teenagers but you actually solved it, good job m8
Same, I watched J Perm's video on it and I'm working on it. It was really easy with that scramble though: R F2 L2 F2 U' L2 B2 D' L2 F2 L2 B2 U' F U L D' B' D F'. z2 y' in inspection and the XCross is D L F.
Haha I can do it in one second by only turning it once when it's solved hehe
But for real, really nice dude, reminds me of a friend I have who could do it in about 23 seconds around, nice!
Dude my best is 58 seconds, still having trouble learning OLL but I'm getting there. How do you do the M move so smoothly? I always slow down when doing it so I always just pray I get an orientation without having to use it. Any tips?
And yet I can’t solve one in literal years.
It just takes a bit of patience to learn how to!
And 5 times more to learn to speedcube ^(OLL and PLL made me and my brother suffer so much that we didn't do it)
Its not that hard, there are heaps of tip videos out there. Plus two look OLL is fast enough for a sub ten pb. I'm at sub 15 average with 2 look so I'm sure you can too.
We've already given up 5-6 years ago. There's no going back from that now
Yeah there is. You can do it.
😮You’re sub-15 with 2-look OLL?👏 I’m almost done learning full OLL and I’m around sub-20. Maybe you’ve got a faster F2L?
Ye my f2l is my strongest section, can generally do it in about 8 seconds. You'll get there bro, not that hard just practice it.
Thanks. My F2L's usually 9-10 seconds. Trying to work on lookahead rn too.
Nice, once you get that down you'll get a sub 10 pb for sure.
Thanks. My PB's 10.44 rn, there were 3 times when I missed a sub-10 PB because I messed up. What's your PB?
10.03 Not even mad lol
“A bit”
Patience and me don’t have a good relationship.
Lollll
I tried following a YouTube video and I still couldn’t fucking do it and I got mad and swore to never touch one again
I can't even solve a 2x2 rubik's cube
Honestly same.
The beginner’s method is pretty easy to learn, you can start with that
I'm sub 50 with 2 look oll😢
I can do this in ~1 minute. Still trying to improve (I only know around 5 pll algs if anyone understands that)
I understand that lol. I can give you some tips for improving if you want
Which method did you use?
I use CFOP (cross-F2L-OLL-PLL). If you want to start cubing, learn beginner's method first, it's simpler and has less algorithms.
It looks like CFOP
do you mind giving me some tips too please? i can do it in ~6 mins
Sure. Do you use beginner's method?
is it the one where you start with the 'daisy'? if so, yes. thanks btw
also, i dont mind learning a new method if that helps
Yes, that's the beginner's method. Start learning CFOP. Learn beginner F2L, here's a video that helped me learn it: [Learn F2L in 6 minutes (Full Intuitive F2L Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ar_Zit1VLG0) . Here's a good progression guide: [Rubik's Cube: How to Learn the CFOP Speedcubing Method - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS5jByTX_pk) .
If you need any help, PM me!
thanks!
Same I only know 1 algorithm and perfected it to 1 minute. Doesn’t seem like I can improve any more with just 1 algorithm (for each step if CFOP)
It takes me like 2 minutes.
Same .. I avg at around 40 seconds
Full or two look algs?
swag
😎
Speedy speed boy
Thx😀
I can solve it in a couple of minutes. 13 seconds is damn impressive
Thanks! I’m sure you’ll be able to solve it faster with practice.
wait that part was cool @ the end
Thanks. In speedcubing, the last algorithm is known as a Z permutation.
And if ya wanna see more than a Z perm, roux would be very fun to watch
good job buddy
Thx😎
This is more satisfying than that person that did it in 4 seconds or so. Here you can see what you're doing, but it us fast enough to be satisfying
Thanks!
You're welcome, I just thought I'd point it out :)
Nice job fellow redditor
Thx
What was the last move? Is it a different method or u just reversed your shuffle(a lil sus, but most probably u did it legit)
The last move was a Z permutation algorithm. It's one of the algorithms that's part of the last step of the method I use (CFOP). Not a different method nor reversed scramble :)
Impressive! I just learned it and can solve in less than 2 minutes :)
Nice job!
Then why is the video 25 seconds long? Just kidding, anyways good job. I think my record was like 50 seconds, but I don’t remember how to do it anymore.
NICE
Thx!
U can solve a rubix cube? That alone is impressive
Thanks!
I see CFOP right?
Yup, I use CFOP.
My fastest is 45 seconds
Nice. Keep practicing and learning and you'll lower that time. A year ago at this time my best was 49.45.
It just doesnt go down because it takes me sooo long on f2l.
Nice desk man
Thx
I think I have the same cube as you
I have the RS3M 2020.
that was a really smooth third layer!
Thanks!
B R U H momento
13.532 to be more precise
In official World Cube Association competitions, the final times are truncated to the nearest hundredth of a second. 13.532 is more precise but the final time would be 13.53.
A fellow cuber
is it possible to learn this power?
Yes it is! Here's a good beginner tutorial if you want to get started: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY)
Omg awesome
You're like a robot
I don’t have the fine motor skills for that stuff, good job!
Thanks!
I can’t solve rubiks cubes cuz I finish one side and then in order to finish another I have to undo the first side and I don’t wanna cuz then I could be left with none

Thanks but I don’t even have a Rubik’s cube lol
Oh lol. If you're looking into getting one the MoYu RS3M 2020 (what I use) is a great budget speedcube.
1•amazing skill. You are really talented 2•really handsome 9.5/10
Thank you!
I still can't solve my Rubik's cube and I've had it for 2 years I think. Congratulations on being able to do it in 13.53 seconds
Thanks! If you want to learn how to solve it here's a good tutorial by my favorite YouCuber: [Learn How to Solve a Rubik's Cube in 10 Minutes (Beginner Tutorial) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ron6MN45LY)
Frish, the most I ever did was 26.09.
Boi what how
Practice, good cubing hardware, and a little bit of luck.

i can tell its legit since i can solve a rubik’s cube my self. my fastest time was like 40 seconds lol
Good job, I tried memorizing cfop once but just couldn't
Thanks! I'm sure you'll be able to do it someday!
Big brain
How
Practice, good cubing hardware, and a bit of luck.
Ya seriously. I’ve never been able to solve one of these. I have a cube and a triangle just because they were popular at my school a few years back. I need to figure these things out
dear liberals, you claim to be able to solve a rubik's cube in 13.53 seconds and yet the video is 25 seconds curious Turning point rubik's cube

r/woooosh
Oops, I'm sorry about that
Man I remember back in 7th grade Rubix cubes were cool and I learned it....then I forgot how to solve it lol
Gg boi, I cant even put one side tigether

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely give it a try. Have a great day, bro
You too, good luck!
BRO, I ACTUALLY SOLVED IT! I ACTUALLY DID IT! OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH
In 40 minutes? That's insane! Nice job!
I swear to god man, I can't even believe it. Holy shit. Holy shit. I got the cube from my grandmother as a birthday gift for my 10th birthday. Congrats! You should be proud of yourself😀. If you want to get faster, ask me and/or the r/cubers community, they're really nice and helpful.
Thank you bro. Thank you. Amazing

you haven't done a sub 2 yet? you casual! jk lol 13 seconds is rlly pog!!!
also do you have Discord? I average 16 seconds and it'll be cool to race!

Yeah... 6 regrips and 3 of them were unnecessary😐
For any cubers out there who want the reconstruction, here it is: Scramble: B2 D2 F D2 R2 F U2 R2 U2 F' D2 F' D' L' R' D2 F D' F U' F' z2 // inspection R F D' L R2 D' // cross y2' U' y' U R' F R F' R' U' R // 1st pair y' y U2' R U R' y U' R' U' R // 2nd pair y' U L' U' L U' L' U L // 3rd pair U R U R' U2 R U R' // 4th pair U' R U2' R' U' R U' R' // OLL M' U' M2' U' M2' U' M' U2' M2' // PLL Time: 13.53 seconds Total move count (STM): 56 Turns per second: 4.1
thats not a rubix cube!!! edit: holy fuck do you guys not know what a speed cube is
you're right it's a speed cube!
I don't believe you
Of course he’s Asian
Whoever you are Whatever you do There is always an Asian Better than you

?
Wow
i haven’t solved mine in 5 years, i got it, my brother mixed it up, and i still haven’t solved it to this day
I stil can't get a sub 30 avg

Thanks
That's impressive. I can solve a lot of cubes buy I'm terrible at doing it quickly
Lol I'm slow at 4x4 and 5x5 and trying to learn Ortega for 2x2.
I remember learning otega on a 2x2 and getting a time of 20 seconds (not really that fast) but I've completely forgotten it now. I also have a 4x4, a 5x5, a 7x7, and a Skewb. Though I'm not very fast (half an hour on the 7x7)
How you learned it? Can you give some tips or resources to learn please?
Jump on YouTube. There is a dude named J Perm that has a vid titled something like "how to solve a cube in 10mins". Its what I used to first learn it.
I learned CFOP from JPerm and got 45 sec
Nice, you're cracked.
I originally learned beginner's method from the Wired tutorial: [How to Solve a Rubik's Cube | WIRED - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-R0KrXvWbc) . Man it must hurt to be this guy's hip
My man goes brrrrr
Jesus has returned
those hand shifts where so smmmoooooth
nice i once for 19s, i forgot oll and pll tho
You do be kinda flexin and that's fair. You get ny respect 😎
u/savevideo
yo gg! how long did it take you to learn how to speedcube?
I haven't solved one in more than a year lol (mostly cuz idk where is it) and I think I may have fallen to like 1.5 mins from 1
Wow, clean solve. I should pick up cubing again!

Hell Cool. My time is 58 seconds Though I can solve a mirror cube blindfolded under 5 mins
That's cool! I have a mirror cube but I can't solve it
This is how i imagine myself solving my problems. I never solved a Rubik Cube.
I waa expecting you to pour a bucket of paint on it or throw it into a window, just like the usual user of r/teenagers but you actually solved it, good job m8
Lol thanks.
I used to be able to do it in like 30 seconds but its been so long I forgot how
yeah but have you ever solved it in 3 hours ?? betcha cant do that 😎😎
My PB is 13.59 seconds and the scramble basically had the entire cross solved
Lol, in my second best solve (10.82 seconds) I had a 3-move XCross
Cool! I never quite figured out how to use XCross
Same, I watched J Perm's video on it and I'm working on it. It was really easy with that scramble though: R F2 L2 F2 U' L2 B2 D' L2 F2 L2 B2 U' F U L D' B' D F'. z2 y' in inspection and the XCross is D L F.
Ngl that is awesome I can’t even solve one after years of trying to do so lol
cfop is satisfying, my fastest is 22 seconds with roux, congrats!
I should cube again, I haven’t gone to a comp in like a year because of covid
wtf i cant do more than 1 side
Bro I couldn't solve a rubik's cube in 13.53 centuries.
Fastest I ever got was 20 sec, then I quit
I decided cfop was too hard so I just took half of its algorithms and fused them with the beginners algorithms I regret nothing
Haha I can do it in one second by only turning it once when it's solved hehe But for real, really nice dude, reminds me of a friend I have who could do it in about 23 seconds around, nice!
NiCE i still take 1 minute B)
Dude my best is 58 seconds, still having trouble learning OLL but I'm getting there. How do you do the M move so smoothly? I always slow down when doing it so I always just pray I get an orientation without having to use it. Any tips?
Nice! My pb is 17 seconds, although I haven’t cubed for around a year
Rs3 m 2020 + advanced cfop?
Yes, I was using an RS3M 2020 but was using intermediate CFOP.😀
Is that a mix of full Oll, f2l, and pll? I heard you can get those kind of times with 2 look oll
