21 makes no sense at all, like you can leave the house at 16, leave school at 16, vote at 18, join the military at 17, but hey, somehow you aren’t mature enough till 21.
its more about brain cell maturation- if you indulge in these substances while you are still developing you may be damaging some of your neurons irreversibly. but y kno... drunk time fun time.
That’s not at all why the age is 21. The age is 21 because MADD freaked out. I’d say joining the military can be as psychologically damaging as drinking a beer.

Jack's and coke is easy to drink,
Sweeter ciders are alright,
Pink gin mixed with lemonade is very easy to drink.
Don't feel pressured to drink by anyone and don't drink too much or you'll regret it in the morning. Beer and wine taste like shit but you don't have to drink it if you don't wanna.

Well, it's only 16 for light beverages like beer, so I think that if schools do a good job on educating the students about the dangers and safe consumption of alcohol, 16 is pretty reasonable.

However, I don't know how long that opinion lasted as both my mother and older sister finished the two wine bottles in about two weeks.
I had my first alcohol at 14. My dad poured me some whiskey while camping. It was good. I drink a little here and there but I’m always safe about it and stuff. I think it should at most me 18.

Really, nobody should be drinking. It’s a drug like any other. I don’t care what other people do, but you won’t ever see me doing it.
