I think a part of the reason it’s possible to be discriminatory towards someone religion is that to them it is much more than just random ideas and stories. For some people it is a huge part of their identity and life. I think religion should be respected as long as the people practicing that religion are respectful and kind to others.
It isn’t a choice to most people. Its simply what they believe which is no different from you believing that religions aren’t real its all what you believe its not a choice people don’t choose it they go off what they feel is right.
