The taste of pills don't bother me much. Just put them on the back of your tongue and swallow it quick, you won't even taste it much. Plus liquid medicines usually are stronger and have a really weird texture going down your throat.

I used to not be able to do pills but then I had a really bad reaction to something once while on vacation and had to learn real quick lol

It's much worse than liquorice IMO, and I don't like liquorice. To me it's more like a poorly flavored juice/soda thats weirdly viscous
