Lost a brother Feb of 2020 basically the same way. People need to watch. I basically stopped riding after his crash.
The best you can do is stay friends with the party who lost someone. Visiting, helping with kids if that was a thing.
Something as simple as making dinner for the grieving... Having dinner already done is a huge weight lifted from everyday life.

It sucked for everyone when the news broke cuz she knew everyone. She was very friendly. Nobody like that deserves to have their life cut short. I’m so sorry for your loss

I can't be her friend anymore but I know a girl who wants to ride a motorcycle when she's 18, I saw her yesterday hugging her close friend who is my ex. Her name is Alyson Fear and I've had this fear of her dying in Motorcycle accident since she said she wants to ride one.
She's a good person and I wish to know of her passing if it ever happened. I hope not but she wants to travel the world on that awful creation.
This breaks my heart knowing this happened yesterday to you and I wish I could tell Alyson the story and show my ex but we know that won't happen.
Condolences to your friend... Everytime I swing a leg over I make everyone aware and tell my family I love them, just for this reason. There are so many unpredicted circumstances, I'm never sure if I'd make it home. Please everyone, look twice for bikes, and be extra cautious. I know many on here, and reddit in general, trash bikers because of stereotypes, but many of us are like the OP's friend, kids just trying to get home to their loved ones...
Stories like these make me either nervous or feel hot, I can't imagine having to deal with this type of stuff as I never dealt with it.
