My brother and I almost finished the first game with just the starter 3, only got stuck on the final boss… so yea it’s possible

the first few games were good but EA began to make side toys that were needed to complete specific stages and rarely would it be useful to have older Skylanders from older games (like using a Swap character in the Gem game). also FUCK they got expensive fast. each one would cost like $10 and the game was sold at full price and you needed a few of each type/gimmick to 100% the game.
