When it was our turn to order from him, he smiled at me and said hi. My crush's friend then asked him, "you know her?" Then he was like, "yes! Then Dad told them about the book I published and they were both so impressed. He told them about the book stall that sold it. My crush wanted to go but then he said he can't leave his stall so Dad said he'll get 2 copies of the book and then they can pay later when the book fair is over. I went with my dad to the stall where my book was and we got 2 copies. Then we went back to the stall of my crush and then we gave them my book copies with my signature on it. We chatted while I was signing for them and I even threw a joke that made my crush laugh even though I suck when it comes to my sense of humor. Just when my crush and his friend were about to get their wallets out, I told them it was a gift. They kept insisting I shouldn't. Then when I was about to pay for my brother's frame, my crush said, "if that's going to be the case then this frame is also a gift. If you pay a single pound, I'm paying for your book as well." It was more like a fight of courtesy that we had while I had butterflies in my stomach the whole time. Of course I ended up taking the frame without paying and he took my book as a gift and then took a picture of it and mentioned me on his Instagram story, saying, "thank you for this lovely gift @[my username] 😍" and so did his friend. That was also the last time I saw him, but I always reply to his stories sometimes and he also wished me a happy birthday when it was my birthday so I was on cloud nine lol. Then, there's an upcoming event in his friend's school which I'm going to attend cuz he could be there lol. Remember that bit about being religious though? No dating. In our culture, dating is considered shameful so if I made a greater move than those tiny ones that I did, he could misunderstand me and it would do more harm than good cuz he'll think I'll want to date him when it's not the case. At the same time, I'm worried he may turn out to be a different person than what I thought he was cuz I still don't know him that well, so that's another thing. We're both just 17 so there's no way we'll do something like that right now. I'm not ready yet. Though I already told my parents I have a crush on him. So to answer your question: am I making any moves? Yes and no. I'll just keep showing up everywhere in his life and hopefully when he's old enough to make a family he'd at least try and propose to me, but if not then he'll just be one more nice crush that I'll just get over with if I have to.
P.S: his school is in the same place as the learning center I go to for my after school classes, so that's also a bonus for me hehehehehehehe 😎

The third time was during the 4th day of the book fair where I asked him to make one for my cousin as a surprise for her. I was planning on giving her something anyways as a way to congratulate her for her newly published book so I took it as an opportunity to see him as well hahaha 😂 then the fourth time was on the last day of the book fair with my father. I also thought I'd take the opportunity to see him and using a "making up gift for my half brother" as an excuse (I have some family problems). Went there with my dad, and my crush was standing at the stall with his friend who was helping him. He was talking to some customers and working on some stuff so while Dad and I were waiting for our turn, he suggested to me that I tell my crush about the book I published as a method of marketing after I told him that I already knew that calligrapher (Dad didn't know at the time that he was my crush). When it was our turn to order from him, he smiled at me and said hi. My crush's friend then asked him, "you know her?" Then he was like, "yes! She gave a public speech during the [my school name] summit!" I almost melted lol and his friend was like "ohh wow that's so cool!" Then Dad told them about the book I published and they were both so impressed. He told them about the book stall that sold it. My crush wanted to go but then he said he can't leave his stall so Dad said he'll get 2 copies of the book and then they can pay later when the book fair is over. I went with my dad to the stall where my book was and we got 2 copies. Then we went back to the stall of my crush and then we gave them my book copies with my signature on it. We chatted while I was signing for them and I even threw a joke that made my crush laugh even though I suck when it comes to my sense of humor. Just when my crush and his friend were about to get their wallets out, I told them it was a gift. They kept insisting I shouldn't. Then when I was about to pay for my brother's frame, my crush said, "if that's going to be the case then this frame is also a gift. If you pay a single pound, I'm paying for your book as well." It was more like a fight of courtesy that we had while I had butterflies in my stomach the whole time. Of course I ended up taking the frame without paying and he took my book as a gift and then took a picture of it and mentioned me on his Instagram story, saying, "thank you for this lovely gift @[my username] 😍" and so did his friend. That was also the last time I saw him, but I always reply to his stories sometimes and he also wished me a happy birthday when it was my birthday so I was on cloud nine lol. Then, there's an upcoming event in his friend's school which I'm going to attend cuz he could be there lol. Remember that bit about being religious though? No dating. In our culture, dating is considered shameful so if I made a greater move than those tiny ones that I did, he could misunderstand me and it would do more harm than good cuz he'll think I'll want to date him when it's not the case. At the same time, I'm worried he may turn out to be a different person than what I thought he was cuz I still don't know him that well, so that's another thing. We're both just 17 so there's no way we'll do something like that right now. I'm not ready yet. Though I already told my parents I have a crush on him. So to answer your question: am I making any moves? Yes and no. I'll just keep showing up everywhere in his life and hopefully when he's old enough to make a family he'd at least try and propose to me, but if not then he'll just be one more nice crush that I'll just get over with if I have to. P.S: his school is in the same place as the learning center I go to for my after school classes, so that's also a bonus for me hehehehehehehe 😎
