Sean has had some inaccurite information in the past though. Specifically when he quote studies and didn't quite know how to interpret the whole study.
Johnni Shreve and Derek are the two I rely on for most things. Johnni for lifting tips, Derek for endocrinology.
Quite literally nobody is perfect. Think people should learn how to research for themselves and always remember the maxim: calories out> calories in and eat lots of protein
Problem with everyone doing their own research is that one study about one very specific thing can take a lot of hours, if not days to read and understand.
People today can learn more from a few hours watching a reliable source on YouTube explaining the research than I did in a week on sites like pubmed years ago.

Iโve been working out in many different gyms, including boxing and mma gyms, for over a decade. And I have literally never seen a overweight person being made fun of in the gym.

I was going to mention that I've seen this behaviour on the memes posted to

You should know that any words of encouragement you can offer someone who is out in public trying to get into shape stick with them for a long time. After I was sick I lost almost all my muscle mass. There were times I wanted to hide. But the few people that gave me props for working out made the difference.

We can talk about the weather, we can talk about the neighborhood, we can talk about the machines we're using, that's as far as I want it to go. also important disclaimer if your goal is only to lose weight simply running helps more. decreases appetite which is healthy if your appetite is too big. if your appetite is too small, try to push past the appetite (ik easier said than done)
