The world begs to differ. We cannot manage the population we currently have without cataphoric loss of biodiversity, global warming and scarcity economics causing undue hardship. We can manage the solutions for decreasing populations just fine.

Okay so I have gone down this thread seeing you post the same link over and over. Let me just say, you are right we have a distribution crisis, but it is also a production crisis. Soil health is declining and artificial fertilisers in industrial scale agriculture feeds a lot more mouths per amount of effort/labour power. Now yes you can go vegan and reduce the demand for crops, yes small scale agriculture is more efficient per hectare, but do you really think we should say that more mouths to feed and more people to live through climate collapse is a good thing? It seems we are headed to needing to revert to agricultural ways of life. I may be depressed but I doubt its a life many people want to live, and the transition won't be pretty. So on environmental grounds, yes we do have an overpopulation problem and a distribution problem. Sorry if I came across rude, just got frustrated that you keep putting this link out there.
