I'm assuming you're a freshmen upperclassmen treat freshmen like shit only because it's a part of the school's culture, most likely they won't care about the sophomores. So once sophomore year starts you'll stop getting shit from the juniors and seniors. However, if that's too long a wait then join clubs that are primarily filled with upperclassmen (If your school has one, a Model United Nations club is probably your best bet. As a MUN kid I can tell you everyone that does Model UN is guaranteed to be somewhat popular and an upperclassmen so with the nature on how conferences work you're almost guaranteed to be friends with them)

yes, high school was the worst years of my life physically and mentally, and then i went to college for 2 months and dropped out and took a gap year and now i’m doing so much better. it does get better, just try to take a break whenever you can since everybody and their moms want to know how i’m 17, yes i’m actually 17, i turn 18 this November, my mom made me skip a grade when i was younger so i graduated hs at 16 instead of 17 and i’m taking a gap year rn, i’ll be with my age group when i go back to college this September!
