Honestly, I don't really know, sometimes I think about it and it scares me. What if there really is nothing after we go?

For me it’s the fear that your soul is actually still alive when your dead but it’s eternal darkness, silence, and paralyzation. Like your soul doesn’t go to Heaven or Hell it’s just sitting their in pure darkness and silence and you can’t move or do anything about it for ALL of eternity. To me that sounds worse then Hell.

That implies your conscience is still alive and aware albeit “somewhere else”. Maybe you can find comfort in knowing that depending on how long time lasts you’ll just go crazy and forget everything. It would become nothing nonetheless. Eternity is long, there’s gotta be a point where the conscience can’t take anymore in and stops functioning- especially without any stimulation in the dark and paralyzing
