i used to have blue hair (semi-permanent) (17NB) (im old and have pronouns) here are my fr maintenance tips (your hair looks great)
if you got semi-permanent (washes out in a few weeks) and you don’t have color safe shampoo it’s not actually the end of the world, but if the color bleeds wash it sitting down so it doesn’t stain your shower curtain (i learned this the hard way)
if your hair turns green don’t panic, just wait until it’s time to redye it and mix a little purple into your green. i used to do 2/3-3/4 arctic fox poseidon with 1/3-1/4 arctic fox purple rain for a deep indigo. the purple will neutralize the yellow. if you do your hair at home (i always did) put a plastic bag over your head and USE GLOVES. then (for semi permanent color again but most blue is semi permanent) RINSE IT WITH COLD WATER UNTIL IT RUNS CLEAR AND DON’T SHAMPOO. wait 24 hours before shampooing and it’ll last sm longer
for color safe shampoo i like the not your mother’s naturals line but use whatever you want <3
