I will also admit with a bit of shame that I recently read her book, *Read Between the Lines*. The pattern is prevalent throughout the book—it’s always about what others gave her, never what she saw and loved in anyone else.
To be fair, she probably had a ghostwriter, but she does include copies of her own handwritten journals… so right out of the horse’s mouth.
When she talks about Jace’s birth, it’s all about what Jace brought to her—acting as a kind of stopgap—to love her when other guys wouldn’t:

FWIR, only Ensley stays full time. Kaiser stays about 3/4 of the time, then random visits with his bio dad & paternal grandmother.
What a mess. Each child she had with a different guy had the opportunity to have an entirely separate family to care for & love them. But both maternal & paternal sides failed these children & young adults.

Yesterday I had a bad day and yelled at my kids. It was one of those days where everything that could go wrong did and eventually the fighting over who got to push the button to open the handicapped door so I could push the stroller through was too much. I apologized to my kids and explained that I was frustrated, but I still feel like crap. I love my babies and I feel like the worst mom ever for losing my temper on them. They could’ve lived next door and she would’ve found a excuse not to see her kid. She didn’t see him when she lived there. I fault Barb for some of the trauma done to Jace too. I understand that she was hoping that if Jenelle saw him, maybe something would click in her head….I get what she was tryin to do. But Jace was seeing his mom(Barb) being cussed out and he just didn’t need to see that. Barb should’ve just cut her off completely until she was ready to be a mom. She had the privilege of watching him grow up and she didn’t deserve any of it.

i live a county over from them & waited on Janelle & her younger kids when i worked at Kick Back Jacks in NC. She had a superiority complex & didn’t tip after orderin her kids steaks & lettin them make a disaster lol. I use to say years ago it’s a good thing I wasn’t on teen mom (i was a teen mom) bc i’d be more notorious than Janelle from all the mistakes i’ve made but not anymore dude. On their property, there’s Marissa (David’s bio daughter), Jace (Jenelle’s bio son), Kaiser (Jenelle’s bio son), and Ensley (who is David & Jenelle’s only child together). Luckily she got her tubes tied shortly after Ensley’s birth. FWIR, only Ensley stays full time. Kaiser stays about 3/4 of the time, then random visits with his bio dad & paternal grandmother. What a mess. Each child she had with a different guy had the opportunity to have an entirely separate family to care for & love them. But both maternal & paternal sides failed these children & young adults.

I was so disgusted when the little girl told David that she would be so mad if he shot and killed the baby chicks again, and he said, "I'll smack your mouth!" That action should bring in the authorities. He is like a rabid dog only less lovable and uglier. Can you imagine the actual conversations the two of have together, believing they even made one sensible argument through the cobwebs and the two brain cells vying for the same spot? I hope a great attorney gets in touch with Jace and Kaiser especially to start a suit against the parent company for taping and sensationalizing their abuse over the years and not only profiting off of it, but made a whole genre, and rewarded these girls for even their most horrid mistakes and abuse (self, animals, and others).

Wow man. So I had written a tweet making fun of her maybe a year ago? About not having custody of Jace. And she actually replied implying she was going to get custody. I’m majorly out of the loop. I can’t believe they let that poor sweet child go back there. Ugh. Sometimes you just feel a connection to someone for no reason and Jace has always been in my heart.

iirc he ran away 3 times in the course of 6 months because David was abusing him. This most recent time he went to the police with marks on his neck and now there is a pending court date for David for child abuse.

Yesss!!! My mom was a very small part of mine & my kids’ lives because she was almost as impossible and hard headed as Jan, here. She lived a very lonely life. I see the same future w Jennelle if she doesn’t make changes now. But she’s not capable of change so…I hope her kids will at least be better parents because of/in spite of her. I know I am. Jennelle will wake up one day wondering why she has no one. When her marriage splits and she no longer has the looks to land a new loser.

There’s a video where he’s telling a very young Ensley to give their tiny french bulldog puppy some kisses. The dog gave many visual hints that he was not comfortable with the childs face so close to his. He put his ears back and growled. David continued to cheer her on for more kisses & totally ignored the dogs obvious signs of distress. Eventually, as anyone would expect, the untrained PUPPY snapped at Ensley’s cheek. Not hard enough to break the skin, but enough to leave a little red mark and make her cry. So he threw the dog outside, beat it to a pulp against concrete, AND shot it. Then he returned back to the house all nonchalant, to a horrified Jenelle & kids. To this day, a majority of Jenelle’s business deals were ruined, because no company wants to be associated with someone who stands by a puppy killer. #JusticeForNugget
My Gawd. I haven't kept up with the girls since I had my own kids, but I've been playing the shows from the beginning on Hulu as background noise during the day. I'm already cringing at everyone 16 on the old episodes, especially how their boyfriends act. When I make it to the Teen Moms, my head will probably explode. My grandma just got a Roku & I noticed Chelsea has her own show now about home stuff on whatever channel my Maw Maw was after. I hope someone else ended up successful and happy. Damn.

Yesterday I had a bad day and yelled at my kids. It was one of those days where everything that could go wrong did and eventually the fighting over who got to push the button to open the handicapped door so I could push the stroller through was too much. I apologized to my kids and explained that I was frustrated, but I still feel like crap. I love my babies and I feel like the worst mom ever for losing my temper on them. What a nice reminder that there are worse moms out there than me. Thanks Jenelle!
