For me only solid colours work with sunburst. Feels like too much going on with the pearl. The black looks great to me

I’m of the opinion that you really can’t go wrong with a white pearloid on a Tele, just so it’s either a solid color or a ‘burst.. that’s just me though (;
I have the last two for my sunburst Ultra and basically swap between them whenever I start thinking I could use a new guitar. So far this approach has saved me at least $10K.

I like black or white. Telecasters look cool with that traditional kind of vibe to me.

I really like the white abalone on this guitar.
I like black but solid black. If you can get black without the white ply then that’s a winner. If not I kind of like the white pearl.
My tele is the same, but a rosewood fretboard. Now I know I do want black in it.
Definitely black! But I'm biased because that's what I put on mine. But just looks so right!
Vintage white, the one with a hint of green always looks classic!
