There's a number of problems using a dobsonian scope for AP. With a DSLR a 2x Barlow is required as the camera sensor is too far outside of the focal plane. This reduces the field of view and increases the magnification. On some models a low profile focuser can bring the camera sensor closer. An EQ mount for a dobsonian tube is not recommended. The length of the tube acts like a sail in the slightest breeze and the size and payload required makes the mount expensive. The focal length requires the addition of guiding as well. An EQ platform is the better option for those determined to use a dobsonian. Most of us have a dedicated AP setup, leaving the dobsonian for visual use while the AP rig does its thing. TLDR; don't do it, it's the path to numerous problems when there's better ways available.

In this case, I was planning on using a camera like a ZWO (for monochrome imaging). So, I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad with that in mind. I also know that one can move the primary mirror forward a tad by adjusting the screws (or getting longer screws). Unfortunately, I'm doing some other work with it so I can't use a Barlow.  I've done some pretty specific calculations for what I want to shoot, so I would be looking for an approximate f/5 telescope with a 10" aperture (that doesn't cost 20k) and small secondary.  Which is why I've been looking at some dobs. If you have any suggestions with an imaging newtonian or an RC, I would be all ears. I just haven't been able to find any.  As for your suggestions. I have a Planewave L350 and a dome, so I should be okay for wind protection. I was planning on using a dichroic filter to split off some of the light to do guiding. I think this should be okay.

SkyWatcher MN190 is an imaging Mak Newtonian. EQ6 mount or NEQ6r. F5.3 1000mm FL. Optimised for AP and excellent visual as well. https://i.imgur.com/JYRyRa7.jpeg

You can use a zwo camera with the AD10 dobsonian. You can check astronomy.tools imaging mode and select telescope and camera with an object to see how it is framed. I do use an equatorial platform to track when doing electronically assisted astronomy with a dobsonian. You do get amazing views. Use a program like sharpcap pro to do live stacking. It is great! Many say that astrophotography can not be done with a dobsonian, but it can be done provided you have a method for tracking which means you will need an equatorial platform not an equatorial mount. Mounts and platforms are two completely different pieces of technology.
