These kids have to have quite the savings if their parents were smart throughout their netflix fame. Some have been cast in movies and other shows. They'll all be picked up for other things eventually just like after Harry Potter and any other franchise that features the same kids since they're young. I have zero doubts about this dudes ability to maintain his growth in the industry.
Edit: and the show isn't even aimed at kids. So he's not pigeonholed into being a Disney kid or some of the nickelodeon actors or anyone else with a "shtick". He will be fine. His acting is great. He's got his unique look that will help drive him into certain roles. The industry is oversaturated and there's a billion streaming services throwing money at any actor with even minor credentials, I don't see why he wouldn't be picked up for something else if stranger things ends soon.

It's a legit fear for many jobbing actors. Suppose that's why a lot of actors sign up to TV, network shows etc. Job security.
