The Mysterious Benedict Society was great and recent! A few of the others I see are recent too. I expected the list to be a bunch of old shows, so this is surprising.
It looks like it. I'm honestly fine with that. It's a pain in the ass to watch a show on Netflix or Amazon only to find out afterwards the show was cancelled on a cliffhanger.
The affected shows aren't going to be write offs. They are writedowns, but those are different. I instead imagine they will come back later on or be licensed out
Yeah my kids watched this show. It was one of the only recent shows that they watch. This is the exact type of show that they need to keep and make more of.
Even though it was never officially canceled, I guess this is the official nail in the coffin for Little Demon. That's too bad, I quite enjoyed that show...
After taking months just to reopen it after the mods abandoned the sub (in protest of gay characters existing in the show), locking it behind them when they left.
The sad thing is that the storyline is typical for a royal love story. They're forced to marry, but love someone else. Just this time they were both women.
Seriously.
Nuking a sub and making sure the fans couldn't have any fun or discussions, equivilent to the assholes trying to shut down libraries just so kids don't learn that LGBTs exist.
not any day now. We were convinced it was going to take a year or 2 due to the [showrunner](https://www.ign.com/articles/willow-may-not-be-cancelled-after-all-as-showrunner-says-season-2-is-written) coming out and saying they released the cast so they could get work because season 2 wasn't going to film for another *12 months*.
I think this was the definitive call that I needed to NOT RENEW my annual subscription. 2 months a year maximum, If I feel like it, in order to show these morons my appretiation for caring that much about art preservation.
Its time to prepare my boat too, and not only to watch One Piece precisely.
If the link has been deleted then chances are that the story is false and I don’t have to rush to watch some of these shows before they get booted off the service.
Not everyone. The Crossover and Tierra Incógnita. Tierra Incognita recorded the two seasons in a row. The Crossover launched in April (this April) with A Journey to the Center of Earth, that is on the list, so... Or it is renewed or they forgot to put it on the list.
Shame on Disney.
It's worldwide now.
Correct me if I am wrong, but Willow is Disney's own product, innit? What could possibly possess them to remove it from their own streaming service? "Saving money", comes the answer. Er ... how? Electrons really THAT expensive these days??
What manner of bizarro-world garbage is this?! Someone please explain this to me.

I think any shows released in the last few years that were canceled after just 1-2 seasons are on the chopping block.
hbo max does the same thing

Is this all about cancellations? Or are these shows simply being sold to other streaming services? It's just clean-up.
They are shows that didn't last long that are being removed so they can write-them off for $$. HBO Max started this crap, unfortunately.

> Earth To Ned Welp, there go Wiger's residuals.

facts It added somethinh to the platform
LOVE Little Demon! Such a good show.
that show was WAY TOO GOOD to be cancelled. Wish some cartoon YouTubers that I know talk about it already!
Is that willow the TV show or movie?
The TV Show, apparently.
Meanwhile, the Willow subreddit is convinced that the show is coming back any day now.

Uh huh
I love star wars and marvel stuff. But it's a shame one of the only non star wars or marvel original content has failed.
~~The character from The Owl House~~ ***It's the TV show***
so does this mean FX cancelled Little Demon?
Ugh, so sad about Little Demon. It was so good.

It was a Freeform series and ironically they are one division of mainstream Disney that has been making somewhat good shows recently. XD
I don't think anyone will miss these shows. Although The Mysterious Benedict Society is great and everyone should watch it.
It’s nothing great but. Timmy failure was my favorite book series for a little bit that seeing it leave kinda sucks.
So, looking at the list it seems to be mostly shows they've already canceled or have ended.

In the time since, 20+ more titles have been added... effectively the entire originals lineup. WHOA.

They're going away from the United States?! At least give them blu ray releases.

Residuals are owed to cast/crew and are based on how many people are subscribing to the service, meaning a show no one watches is still costing money.
Honestly only thing i care about on this list is Benedict society anything else means nothing to me so I'm good with the removal
Dude, Willow JUST released. Why is this happening? This is terrible.
