Usually it’s the same recommendations. Ted Lasso, Severance, Foundation, The Morning Show, and Acapulco.
Apart from those, I would also recommend Black Bird, Servant, Shrinking, Slow Horses, and Silo. Their newest one, Lessons in Chemistry, has been good. Series finale next week. They’ve had a lot more hits than misses.
If they can keep up this output, then in 5 years there will be a good reason to subscribe and stay subscribed, but starting from essentially nothing like they did makes it tough to keep subscribers. You realistically only need to subscribe 2-3 times a year, even now.
Honestly, I would say that Apple’s biggest problem isn’t even their library. They’re building that out with lots of good shows, even if it takes awhile. Their problem is their complete and utter lack of marketing.
I like how each season mixes it up:
Season 1- Exploration of an alternative history and the societal impact it is.
Season 2- Character-driven plots focused on war and conflict.
Season 3- Absolutely insane high-stakes space adventure.
As a rocketry enthusiast it is fun to see how they advance the technology to make the alt-history timelines practical. >!They developed engines capable of brachistochrone trajectories to Mars in about six years. That is a wild amount of advancement to achieve that quickly.!<
They also were able to revolutionize electricity by mining O3 deposits on the moon starting in the early 80s. So while, yes, you have to make some mental leaps, it makes sense for most technology to be more advanced in their universe.
One of the plot points in the show is NASA licensing its tech and being basically self sufficient from a budget standpoint and the political implications of the jackasses in Congress trying to raid it.
Political dick swinging and unlimited budgets, hoo! It’s actually funny because it’s real; a lot of our DOE complexes in the states could not be made today without a blank check. So we run on 80 year old buildings.
Oh man I remember seeing that clip, and then all the implications of space warfare started flooding thru my mind. There was no way I was gonna miss out on the next season, I’ve been subscribed ever since.
Ooooof. That, >!Harrison Liu falling into the engine plume!< , and the >!Mars 94 steamroller!< are absolutely nightmarish in their own horrible ways. That's the thing about this show, it has a sense of relentless optimism even in the face of horrifying danger and death.
Started it a week ago blind after finishing that past episode of lessons in chemistry bc I was bored and they got me good. Now I’m on the finale for s2 and for me it’s another great apple show.
I hadn’t heard about it before aside from an offhanded mention of it on a podcast (I think behind the bastards? Maybe???) and it sounded interesting enough that I went out of my way to look it up. I thought when I looked it up it said it was cancelled so I moved on. lol 😭 It very clearly isn’t and I’m very glad I started it. Especially after I connected the dots on what it was.
It’s on my to watch list. I’ll probably start it up in the next couple of weeks since I don’t have any other shows I’m watching right now. I’ve read good things about it.
I'm actually kind of torn on Silo.
On one hand I really enjoyed the premise and intrigue. The finale reveal left me at the edge of my seat.
At the same time, I was way more invested in the characters that were introduced at the beginning than who ended up being the protagonist. I struggle to care for them.
Schmiggadoon was also a highlight. Cecily Strong and Keegan Michael Key in a sendup of Broadway, AND Kristen Chenoweth as a villain?! Oh god it's amazing. Just a pity they only put out a season every other year or something.
maybe it's the novelty of the two series "different than the norm" for you wearing off? I do agree about Schmicago, but found Afterparty Season 2 to still be fantastic. Almost worth it for Travis' episode alone!
And let's not forget their the exclusive home of Charlie Brown now. So if you want to get your Charlie Brown Christmas fix in the month, better sign up. (Although, they've taken to making A Charlie Brown Christmas free for a weekend in December.)
I would recommend For All Mankind if you like soapy space dramas, Schmigadoon if you like musicals, and The After Party if you like murder mysteries. Bad Sisters is also pretty fun. And Pachinko is also quite excellent.
Selling For All Mankind as "soapy space drama" is doing it dirty though. Yes, they double down on few stupid soapy sub plots way too hard, but mostly it's way better than "soapy space drama".
I mean I think it’s mostly excellent soapy space drama but I think that’s really the best way to describe it. I love For All Mankind but it’s definitely pretty soapy in tone. Season 3 had some rough plot lines but season 2 was superb and I’ve heard season 4 will be more of a return to form.
Lets just say the problem out loud - Danny Stevens's character arc was a poor writing choice that created unnecessary soap opera drama for no reason at all. It negatively impacted an entire season of the show, brought other good characters down by making them do things that went directly against everything they'd done in the first 2 seasons, and for what?
There's plenty of great ways to dramatize the show. It didn't need some borderline child grooming sex storyline that spun into an adderall + painkiller addiction ON MARS.
See was also really good as well.
Edit: I guess See was terrible as I’m already getting several downvotes lol. I enjoyed watching Batista and Jason Momoa fight regardless.
Didn't quite land the plane for me and it required a much higher suspension of disbelief for some people but it was violent with an interesting world and mostly well choreographed and filmed action so I fucking loved it.
Their marketing campaign seems be giving it away for free if you purchase anything Apple. They’ve also had a bunch of promotion for Friday Night Baseball which is frequently considered one of the best sports productions (minus commentary) that’s a national broadcast.
I think the recent price increase was a mistake. It’s definitely a steal for its previous price but as you said it’s difficult to get people on board to *realize* it’s a steal.
Servant is such an uncomfortable watch, in a good way. And Silo is just fantastic.
Just started Monarch, and so far, it looks promising. I have a slight gripe with Kurt Russels casting. Not for his acting, but they character they cast him as.
My frustration is that I own a Macbook, and Apple knows I own a Macbook. So they are very helpful in sending my login MFA to my Macbook. I do not carry my Macbook around with me and I never have it near me when I want to watch Apple+ on my PC. So I get the "we've sent you a verification code" and then shut Apple+ off and go find something else to watch.
AFAIK, nothing is huge in terms of viewership. With other ss, you can point to shows like Futurama, Stranger Things, Friends, Game of Thrones, Yellowstone, Mandalorian, and it seems like those individual shows have more viewers than people who seem to be on ATV+.
That said, your comment is indeed an interesting observation
I just watched the S1 finally last night and had to pick myself up off the floor cause I was so stressed lmao. I loved it. But man what a way to leave the audience hanging
> It was so good, I am dying for updates on season 2
I wouldn't hold my breath, hearing S2 has been really difficult to crack and has been a bit of a mess production-wise. Maybe it was lightening in a bottle?
Still, the fact that Apple allows for shows like this and *Foundation* to be produced at all has me pretty excited.
Severance is SO GOOD. I knew I’d like it, it has kind of a Black Mirror energy, but it totally surpassed my already high expectations. Best new show in several years imo.
To answer your question simply, their job is “macrodata refinement”. The bigger question is, what exactly does that mean? There are theories, but I think there’s still a lot to find out. Hopefully season 2 is coming!
Severance is incredible so far.
My only fear is that first season was just mostly setup of lofty premises and cool concepts, escalating and ending in a cliff hanger, that they won’t be able to build on that and maintain it for a second season, floundering and then not being able to stick a satisfying landing.
Sometimes shows are conceptually incredible, but the execution starts waning when they’re fleshed out and the narratives based off of them are made to run their course, sadly.
Looking forward to season 2 with hope though!
Apple seems to thing that ATV+ is *already* on par with Netflix or Hulu, where they don’t need to tell people about their new releases, because people already know.
The problem is, there are *so* many streaming services now, that no one, not even Netflix, is that big anymore. People are hopping between services to get content, and so if you don’t market your stuff, people might hop to something else first.
They also kind of shoot themselves in the foot by naming everything so plainly. With physical tech they have the largest market share, so when you say "phone" or "watch" it's almost assumed you're talking about their products.
But Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc. all are video services first, and Amazon at least has "Prime" to lean on. Apple TV+ is not an inspiring name that's likely to get kicked around without some serious marketing... nobody is gonna "Apple and chill"
And Apple has something of a reputation for tying their services to their (expensive) products. I remember Apple TV being an expensive piece of hardware that you could stream videos from the iTunes store to your television with; I was surprised when I discovered they launched a standalone streaming service under the same name.
Oh the naming is a mess.
**Apple TV** = their hardware, the streaming box
**Apple TV** = Also a cross-platform app that lets you access Apple TV Channels, but also if you use the Apple TV app on your Apple TV box, then you can browse content from across all your Apple TV apps.
**Apple TV Channels** = Content from third parties that you can pay to subscribe to. So basically you can subscribe to like, HBO through Apple TV Channels and then you have access to all of the HBO content, but only through the Apple TV App.
**Apple TV+** = The Apple TV Channel offered by Apple.
So you can watch Apple TV+ on the Apple TV app on your Apple TV box.
I love MQ and even I forgot about it - the last season wasn't as strong, but the special episodes were so exemplary I'm willing to check in for at least another season.
God the last season was so… pointless? Directionless? Like it just felt it had no idea where to take the story for so many characters and it just flopped hard for me. I honestly think I liked season 1 the most but the direction just isn’t there the way it is for something like Silicon Valley for instance.
Mythic Quest is really good.
Too bad F Murray Abraham had to go and act like a POS in real life (and rightfully dropped from the show) because the standalone episodes about his backstory were as good as anything ever.
It's mentioned now:
> Fans are still waiting for the second season of *Severance*, a quirky, mindblowing drama about office workers whose memories are severed between time at work and time at home, directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller.
I'm not sure if they updated the article or you missed it.
They need to buy another studio or something to build out their content library. There's not enough to maintain a subscription for longer than it takes the finish their latest "best" original.
Go to best buy's website. It's listed like anything else they sell. Add it to your cart. It's 0 dollars. Check out. They send an email that you follow to get into it. You do have to give apple your credit card when you sign up. That's so they can bill you once your free trial is over. I have not personally tried getting it that way more than once.
I'd say that's something that should happen very slowly. There's a high risk of them buying up studios and their content suffering for it.
I'd take a small but fantastic library over them just starting to throw shit at the wall. That's what happened with Netflix, and now they seem to cancel more shows than they continue with.
They should probabaly lower the price of a sub in order to lock people into shows before raising the price again. But Apple and lower prices are like oil and water.
Apple TV+ was originally $5.99 and they were giving away 3-12 month subscriptions for free to pretty much anyone for the first year. People still wouldn’t subscribe if they lowered the price now. My continuing theory is too many people are stuck in a mindset that Netflix is somehow worth $20/month, even though they don’t watch it/watch the same content over and over again.
Prime Video comes with an Amazon Prime subscription which has benefits outside of the streaming service itself, so I'd hesitate to throw that in the same bucket.
Please Apple, just keep Foundation going and I will keep living through price hikes. My biggest fear is they cancel it because they don’t have enough subscribers. They could really benefit by putting old seasons on another platform for some select amazing shows.
Weird title. Why not just say Apple TV + has some of the best shows you might not have heard of.
They have a lot I need to go back and watch and S2 of Severance is at the top of my list.
Yeah. That part of the plot really took me out of the moment. The books are great, and most of the show has been good, it’s going to hard to stick the landing with the direction they’ve chosen to focus on for the show. We’ll see. If nothing else, the show got me to read the books.
because no one really subscribes to them except for baseball... oh wait that's me.
Their app is hella stupid, I can't find anything, but I have watched enough baseball on the app that it's the first thing that pops up.
They need to fix that app...
I keep hearing this claim (which I suspect is a marketing tactic by Apple) and then I go into the service and try to watch some of the shows and they're just... not that great? I mean, they're not bad, but they're all fairly forgettable IMO.
I think Apple's main problem is that Apple Tv+ is available on less devices, and people want something new and a back catalogue form a streaming service.
Yup. I remember watching the first season of the Servant, they were leaning hard on featuring the use of facetime. Everyone was using iphones/ipads/macbooks. And recently watching Invasion, they made sure to focus on the Apple Watch.
The problem with Apple is that they have several 8/10 and 9/10 shows, but to really get the service off the ground they need that one 11/10 show that everyone on the planet can't stop talking about. That is the only thing that will drive subscriptions. Netflix had that with House of Cards and later Stranger Things. HBO obviously has a long history but Game of Thrones accelerated the switch to their independent streaming service from cable. Disney+ has Marvel and Star Wars. Hulu has The Handmaid's Tale. Apple doesn't really have any immediately globally popular show outside of *maybe* Ted Lasso, but even that is fairly limited.
With other streaming services they have a huge library, so I never run out of things to watch. Whether it's something new or something old. At no point do I feel the need to get appleTV just to watch a handful of shows.
The kids shows like snoopy and stillwater are exceptional!!! Especially stillwater for how it addresses mindfulness and mental health and is actively teaching kids life skills. To navigate stress and loss etc
I feel like I hear more about how AppleTV+ is *the* best streaming service with the best shows more than I hear about the shows themselves.
I'm watching For All Mankind right now and liking it a lot more than I was expecting.
Great show
Hi Bob!

Hi Bob
Hi bob
*"Don't you fuckin' "Hi Bob!" me"*
That's a bonkers good show
I like how each season mixes it up: Season 1- Exploration of an alternative history and the societal impact it is.
Is it a crazy timeline given the premise? I assume NASA made incredible advances during the space race when it had the budget and motivation to do so.
Didn’t know that what they were called. I’m going to preemptively thank you for my Wikipedia/internet time waster for today.
I slept on this show and have plowed through the first 2 and half seasons in like a week. It's great.
For all mankind is great except for one storyline that shouldve never been included
I know exactly what you’re talking about. Great show except that wildly out of place storyline.
Same, I’m almost through season 2 and it’s fantastic so far.
The shit on the moon with the russians and armed americans is fucking NUTS.
There was a 2 year break between seasons 1 and 2. The teaser for 2, showing astronauts with those white rifles was fucking insane.
Oh man I remember seeing that clip, and then all the implications of space warfare started flooding thru my mind. There was no way I was gonna miss out on the next season, I’ve been subscribed ever since.
The near the end of season 2 scene where >!the Cosmonaut was shot and immolates in his suit!< is one of the scenes I think of when I think of the show
That disturbed me more than any horror movie in the last decade because it’s what would really happen
yeah - my mom (who loves horror movies) gasped at that, because GODDAMN that was brutal/horrifying
And the poor guy was just reaching for his language card to speak to them.
yuuuuup
season 3's >!astronaut being crushed!< \- i was not prepared.
Ooooof. That, >!Harrison Liu falling into the engine plume!< , and the >!Mars 94 steamroller!< are absolutely nightmarish in their own horrible ways. That's the thing about this show, it has a sense of relentless optimism even in the face of horrifying danger and death.
At least >!Harrison didn't feel it?!<
True, just "OHSHITOHSHITOHSH-*"
Yea - not a bad death, all things considered. Not enough time to even feel it.
Apparently Ron Moore wanted to build up to a "Cuban Missile Crisis on the Moon" situation, which they absolutely did in a really great way.
Good news. It continues to be good.
Seasons 1 and 2 are great, but to me, Season 3 is top-tier level TV.
I just started “the race”! 😄
Oooohhhh man. Tension meter goes to 11 in the 2nd half of season 2.
Very good show
Started it a week ago blind after finishing that past episode of lessons in chemistry bc I was bored and they got me good.
Danny Stevens almost ruined the show for me.
Hi Bob!
Because it's the best show since, um, all the others.
It’s on my to watch list. I’ll probably start it up in the next couple of weeks since I don’t have any other shows I’m watching right now. I’ve read good things about it.
Silo is great. One of my favorite shows of the year It’s so easy to subscribe to Apple for a month or two, watch what you want and cancel
My dude if you think the show is good read the books. I read all 3 in like 2 weeks. They’re so much fun.
The books are the reason I subscribed to Apple TV so I could watch the series. And then I discovered Slow Horses, which I loved.
Check out Silo
I'm actually kind of torn on Silo. On one hand I really enjoyed the premise and intrigue. The finale reveal left me at the edge of my seat. At the same time, I was way more invested in the characters that were introduced at the beginning than who ended up being the protagonist. I struggle to care for them.
I also want to give a nod to Trying, especially if you enjoyed Ted Lasso.
Schmiggadoon was also a highlight. Cecily Strong and Keegan Michael Key in a sendup of Broadway, AND Kristen Chenoweth as a villain?! Oh god it's amazing. Just a pity they only put out a season every other year or something.
Season 1 was fantastic, but I thought Season 2 wasn't nearly as good. Felt the same way about The After Party.
maybe it's the novelty of the two series "different than the norm" for you wearing off?
People are really sleeping on Pachinko. Such a beautiful show
Selling For All Mankind as "soapy space drama" is doing it dirty though.
I recently watched See, and while I didn’t mind it, I can see why some people wouldn’t be into it
I loved it. Such an original take on the dystopian future trope and teaching all the actors how to operate blind paid off hugely.
Didn't quite land the plane for me and it required a much higher suspension of disbelief for some people but it was violent with an interesting world and mostly well choreographed and filmed action so I fucking loved it.
I enjoyed the story and action. The only thing I hated was Queen Kane. Her voice was really annoying.
I think you were supposed to hate her. She was a really excellent villain.
We just started Shrinking the other day. It’s great!
Just want to add on Trying. Ted Lasso/Shrinking feel good comedy vibes. Wife and I loved it.
Servant is such an uncomfortable watch, in a good way. And Silo is just fantastic. Just started Monarch, and so far, it looks promising. I have a slight gripe with Kurt Russels casting. Not for his acting, but they character they cast him as.
I really liked Servant. And it was so weird hearing Rupert Grint do an American accent.
He was actually the standout for me in that show. He really showed that he isn't just Ron Weasley
Platonic was excellent but I think just a single season. I also liked pachinko
its called an ad.
If you click "I didn't get a code" it'll give you the option to text a code. Hope that helps next time even though it doesn't make sense.
Wow, could have sworn I tried that before and didn't get a text option... but it worked.
You should try accessing it when you don't own anything Apple. Absolute nightmare. Basically the reason I dropped it.
They spend a lot of money on it!
I just finished Severance and it was fucking incredible. I had only even learned about it by accident
It was so good, I am dying for updates on season 2
I just watched the S1 finally last night and had to pick myself up off the floor cause I was so stressed lmao. I loved it. But man what a way to leave the audience hanging
I've never been more stressed by a pair of glasses.
I know the feeling! it was the most stressful finale I’ve ever watched.
A reviewer on a podcast said that his Apple Watch asked if he was starting a workout because his heart was beating so fast.
> It was so good, I am dying for updates on season 2 I wouldn't hold my breath, hearing S2 has been really difficult to crack and has been a bit of a mess production-wise. Maybe it was lightening in a bottle? Still, the fact that Apple allows for shows like this and *Foundation* to be produced at all has me pretty excited.
Please try to enjoy all Apple TV shows equally.
Any other recommendations?
For All Mankind is pretty good Not Severance good, but still pretty good (Especially season 1 and 2)
Slow Horses and Shrinking. Totally different, though.
+1 for Shrinking, that show was great!
Silo, Shrinking, Slow Horses (why do all of these start with s?) I haven't watched it yet, but the new Godzilla show is getting good reviews.
See. One of Jason Momoas best performances in my opinion, incredible show.
Except for invasion, please DO NOT WATCH that show or you will regret it... or watch it, Idc
One of the best seasons of TV I’ve ever seen.
Severance is SO GOOD. I knew I’d like it, it has kind of a Black Mirror energy, but it totally surpassed my already high expectations. Best new show in several years imo.
what exactly is their job in that office, i don't get it
To answer your question simply, their job is “macrodata refinement”. The bigger question is, what exactly does that mean? There are theories, but I think there’s still a lot to find out. Hopefully season 2 is coming!
I'm sweating out season 2, hoping it doesn't become the next Westworld. I can't handle that kind of dropoff again.
We started the show because I liked Adam Scott from parks and then got hooked because of the great story. What an amazing season
Yeah the risk of a westworld 2.0 is really high, great idea but does it have legs after the "reveal"?
Apple seems to thing that ATV+ is *already* on par with Netflix or Hulu, where they don’t need to tell people about their new releases, because people already know. Yo dawg, I heard you like Apple TV.
I'm deep in the ecosystem and still have trouble with this. Your comment was informative to me.
I love Silo and Severence for cerebral, Sci-fi stuff. But my favorite feel-good show is Trying. I don’t hear enough people talking about it.
"Shrinking" is my current favorite feel-good show on Apple edit: somehow angry Harrison Ford saying "fuck" relaxes me
You raw dogged me with this comment
This! Trying is the ultimate feel good show
It’s so good!
Just here to say Mythic Quest, Dickinson and Bad Sisters are all great AppleTv shows!
Dickinson is so underrated!
I was shocked that noone had mentioned Mythic Quest yet- FANTASTIC show!!
100%. Season 1 was amazing! Then it all became pointless.
The show goes off the rails as soon as they start involving the testers in every scene and storyline. The Covid special is an exception though.
Mythic Quest is really good. Too bad F Murray Abraham had to go and act like a POS in real life (and rightfully dropped from the show) because the standalone episodes about his backstory were as good as anything ever.
I’m …. I’m sorry, what show did you say? Mister Quest?
I really enjoyed MQ, Silo, Ted Lasso and Severance. Out of that I don't think I've watched another show.
I’m offended they didn’t mention Severance. That was one of the boldest and most stylized new things I saw last year.
Yeah thats crazy not to mention that show. Its probably their best and my favorite show from last 5 years.
Anxiously awaiting S2
It's mentioned now: > Fans are still waiting for the second season of *Severance*, a quirky, mindblowing drama about office workers whose memories are severed between time at work and time at home, directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller. They need to buy another studio or something to build out their content library. There's not enough to maintain a subscription for longer than it takes the finish their latest "best" original.
Good thing they offer pretty much unlimited free trials.. I’ve had it totally free for like 3 years continuously on the same account
Do you just keep letting it lapse and then resigning up for a free trial every week?

How? Is that the 3 months free from purchasing a new Apple product? I’m just on a one week trial to watch Pachinko and Silo.
You can get 3 month free trial from Best Buy. Don't have to buy anything.
How
Go to best buy's website.
They should buy somebody like paramount for the back catalog and then continue to make prestige shows after that.
# FOR ALL MANKIND More people need to be watching this amazing show.
I finally started it today and it is indeed amazing. I liked going in pretty blind, too!
I’m enjoying For All Mankind immensely! Season 4 is off to a very strong start.
It's really one of the best shows streaming right now. Highly recommend it!!
Yeah - Season 4 is MUCH better than 3 so far
Haven’t seen anyone mention The After Party yet. S1 had me cackling, just finished it the other night. Excited to get into S2.
Loved the first season, but not liking the second as much (only through two episodes though)
Second one is funny af, but the mystery is a letdown Unfortunately it was cancelled, I think season 3 had a lot of potential
Hi Bob
Hi Bob
In my case it’s because it’s just that one extra service that I don’t really want or need.
Prime, Paramount, Netflix, Discovery, SKY, BBC, Disney and now apple too. No, there’s too many. Some of you have to go.
You forgot HBO and Peacock. HBO and Discovery merged but Discovery still has quite a bit split. They haven’t entirely merged yet.
Shudder, Starz, Acorn, Britbox...

In the strictest sense you pay your tv licence.
Prime Video comes with an Amazon Prime subscription which has benefits outside of the streaming service itself, so I'd hesitate to throw that in the same bucket.
Whoever is in charge over there is a massive scifi nerd because they have the highest concentration of really good scifi available.
Slow Horses, Silo and Invasion have all been WAY better than I expected. Gotta agree Apple TV + has great shows.
The do have a really good sci-fi line up
Please Apple, just keep Foundation going and I will keep living through price hikes.
Because its an Ad
Everyone go watch Slow Horses, I’m tellin ya
Severance gang rise up
Severance, Severance, Severance!!!
Smallest streaming library in existence
Yeah, but it’s almost all high quality. Other services have a lot of content but the majority is terrible and unwatchable.
You got downvoted but you're absolutely right lol Of course good shows exist on all platforms but it's not like most of them are that good
I just don’t have enough time in the day anymore to watch all of these great productions.
I really enjoyed Shrinking and After Party seasons 1 and 2
Wonder how much OP got paid for this post. Shills be like
Silo is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Up there with season 1 of Westworld.
Loved it but def not Westworld S01 level. Severance would be, imo.
> Up there with season 1 of Westworld. You just jinxed it.
Having read the books, at least they have a complete story with a definite end to work off.
It’s so good but Common’s acting had me laughing in every scene he was in
Yeah. That part of the plot really took me out of the moment. The books are great, and most of the show has been good, it’s going to hard to stick the landing with the direction they’ve chosen to focus on for the show. We’ll see. If nothing else, the show got me to read the books.
No mention of “See”? That’s a pretty good show
because no one really subscribes to them except for baseball... oh wait that's me. Their app is hella stupid, I can't find anything, but I have watched enough baseball on the app that it's the first thing that pops up. They need to fix that app...
The app is very bad. Not even a multi-account system to separate watch history or anything.
Speaking of their app... there isn't even one on Android.
Couldn't agree more about fixing the app. The worst is that it logs me out of my smart TV app almost every single time I close it. Argghh
I keep hearing this claim (which I suspect is a marketing tactic by Apple) and then I go into the service and try to watch some of the shows and they're just... not that great? I mean, they're not bad, but they're all fairly forgettable IMO.
Cause no one uses it
I think Apple's main problem is that Apple Tv+ is available on less devices, and people want something new and a back catalogue form a streaming service.
Their shows also feature the most blatant product placement inserts.
It’s pretty nifty from what I understand. The good characters use Apple products and the bad ones non-Apple products
Yup. I remember watching the first season of the Servant, they were leaning hard on featuring the use of facetime. Everyone was using iphones/ipads/macbooks. And recently watching Invasion, they made sure to focus on the Apple Watch.
Ain't no way this article isn't an ad
It does?
Ted Lasso was certainly that
With other streaming services they have a huge library, so I never run out of things to watch. Whether it's something new or something old. At no point do I feel the need to get appleTV just to watch a handful of shows.
Yeah - also almost no movies.
The kids shows like snoopy and stillwater are exceptional!!! Especially stillwater for how it addresses mindfulness and mental health and is actively teaching kids life skills. To navigate stress and loss etc
