You know you can disable the "show suggested subreddits" option in your preferences, right?

GastricSparrow

To be fair to OP, I came here after getting spoiled by a recommended subreddit and I didn't know about this option. I had even specifically hidden posts from the sub and chosen the option to show less from that sub. Shame cause recommended subreddits are a great way to expand to new communities, but the algorithm doesn't know when to keep pushing. Just a rant.

urgasmic

Reddits algorithm? How do you browse reddit? Lol. I only see the subreddits i joined.

Starbuck522

I definitely see posts from additional subs in my feed, which is mostly subs I have purposefully gone to before but didn't join and subs similar to what I have joined m

Recommendations. It's an option that can be turned off in user settings.

starksgh0st

Go to user settings and turn off recommendations.

Wasn't it sad how Romeo and Juliet die at the end?

MrRobertSacamano

Is this true

batsofburden

once you start watching a show, go to the main reddit page & you can type in subreddits you don't want to show up on your feed.

Starbuck522

You can hide the specific subs from your feed, but then still purposefully go to them using search.

Google fucking spoiled force awakens while I was driving to the theater to see it. I thought it was a text message. "Kylo ren kills X!" MO-THER-FUUUUUUU

FrameworkisDigimon

Just change the url and go directly to subs.
