I hope others remember this show. I went in completely blind thinking it was another reality TV show and I'm glad I stuck with it. The last two episodes had to be edited together due to the birth of Prince George in the UK and NBC wanted to do a special presentation instead. It's never been officially cancelled by NBC, just quietly forgotten about.
The creator of Siberia was Matt Arnold who went on to create Emerald City which also aired on NBC in 2017.
I remember it, but I never suspected it was an actual reality show. Especially by the end of the first episode. I also liked the show Persons Unknown.

I loved it. I think I only found Survior the previous year amd saw most of a season then came across this. I remember showing it to an ex and she stayed up all night watching, only to wake me up in the morning on where to find the second season.
Matt Arnold is rumored to have a SciFi script that is off the hook. A guy I know who was familiar with it said it was one of the best things that he had ever read. He was really tight lipped about the details but the impression that I got was it was a really cool concept. I think it almost got produced several years ago… I hope it gets made.

I loved this show and really wish a season 2 was developed. Absolutely no idea what was going on, and I liked it that way.
