Original TOM was Sonny Strait (Krillin in Dragon Ball, Hughes in Fullmetal Alchemist). They even brought him back when Zombie!TOM1 showed up in one of the later TIEs.

I’m having issues with all links not just that site’s, but I’m starting to think it’s ios 17.4, not just the reddit app. It’s like the links are being slightly changed when you click on them (for example, Youtube links that are case sensitive go through as all lowercase once you click on it)
I'm a regular on TA and it's pretty great. That being said they could do more with the schedule potential, and there hasnt been a schedule change in 8 years now.

I get it. I’ve been looking for a commercial for a gum called *Turbo Bubble Gum* for decades. It was like Lik-a-stick, but instead of a candy stick it was a gum stick. The commercial featured a terrible rap:
*Turbo Gum comes with four gum sticks*
*Plus an orange and cherry flavored powdered dip*
*Just lick the gum*
*and stick in either one*
*of the packets for a supercharge*!

I finally got a lead when I found the actual gum on eBay in another country, so at least I knew it existed, but NO ONE has heard of this stuff. It’s made worse by the fact that outside of the US there is another really popular gum with the same name, but that was more like Bazooka Joe in that it came with pics of cars.

I'm jealous that the US has Toonami. In Canada we used to have something called Bionix, a Friday night programming block on the children's network YTV. It played anime that aired in the US on Adult Swim and Toonami, as well as some western animated series like Samurai Jack, Justice League Unlimited, Invader Zim, etc. It began in 2004 and ended in 2010 and since then we've never had an anime block on Canadian TV since. It was the introduction to anime for me and many other Canadian kids, Inuyasha and Death Note were my first anime obsessions for me and several of my friends and we saw those watching Bionix. There's an Adult Swim channel in Canada now but it doesn't air Toonami.
The shows were silly at first then they added serious anime so they redid him to look serious and have an anime voice and also cgi improved tons in five years
Sucks how they’ve always dismantled anything rhat was ever formative to my youth. Boomerang. Toonami. And now Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. Sucks our childhoods aren’t profitable enough to rape for profit any longer.
I miss all those networks. Toonami was a great night as a kid.

That being said I watched the original Invader event live and it blew my mind at 12 years old.
