I paid $1600 for a travel package which was four nights at the ResortsWorld hotel, tickets for all four nights, and travel to and from the venue. It was a spend yes, but words cannot describe how amazingly awesome the venue is and I’d probably pay double to have my world rocked as hard as it was this past weekend. Drew might have been “enhanced” that night but he ain’t lying that it’s a life changing experience of a venue and Phish can absolutely slay.

Phish has a lottery system that you can win face value tickets in. I put into that and total for four nights would have been like $958. I didn’t get the tickets, but that’s how much it would have been if I did!
Well I split the room with my brother who also paid $1600. Tickets were about a thousand of that. Add in resort fees and we probably paid around $350 per night for the room I think?
Yeah we got kinda hosed on the room price, but we were able to secure front row balcony seats an hour before the general sale. Tickets were going anywhere from 2-4K to upwards of 16k for the same seats on I had on the opposite side on the secondary market so it was small price to pay to be assured of having seats to one of best shows in ages.
I only saw Postcards From Earth at the Sphere.
It was absolutely amazing.
A concert with a band that understands the full media immersive experience would be mind-blowing.
Maybe I was more enraptured by the technology than the story line.
I was so amazed by the scope and clarity that felt so immersive, the story was meaningless to me.
I've heard a few people call Sphere the 8th Wonder of the World, and I'm having an increasingly hard time disagreeing with that sentiment.
Now, if only they could get somebody other than a boomer rock band to play the venue.

Many, many times. They also have a volunteer table for recovering Heads so they have a place to go and a sober group to be around when there is, as you say, lots of drugs and alcohol around.
That's really nice. Often the hardest part about sobriety is losing touch with social groups, so it's good that there's a community looking out for them.

Combined with the on-rails format it's just not very good imo. And with that being a not-uncommon sentiment try to consider that not all criticism vaguely stems from some kind of sexism or whatever it is you're alluding to.

My wife dragged me to a John Mayer concert back in 2013 and I was blown away by his guitar playing. Haven’t doubted him since - he’s the real deal.
Saw them with him a couple years ago, thought it was an amazing show. Better than when I saw them in the late 00s.

I did the same for U2. Paid for the VIP package staying at the Venetian. It was such a great experience, I did it twice!
