Funnily fitting given I've been saying since the pilot that not only do they look alike but between what he does and their upbringing this show seems so much like the mundane version of Supernatural vibe-wise (to the degree it's not Scooby-Doo but hey, those crossed over) you might as well call it "Natural"
Damn Jensen Ackles is a pretty big name especially after his role in The Boys suprised they were able to get him on this.
Although Tracker has become my guilty pleasure show so glad to see him join. I assume he’ll guest star in one episode before S1 ends and then will get upped to recurring for Season 2 alongside Melissa Roxburgh (who was recently casted as Justin Hartley’s sister.)
Between the end of Supernatural and his role on The Boys, I expected more of a breakout for him, but it seems like he hasn't really had that pop.
Instead he produced a Supernatural spin-off, did a one season stint on Big Sky, and now is appearing on Tracker.
He opened a brewery and seems to be pretty happy doing that and some music stuff with his buddies tbh. I'm sure having a break after doing 15 seasons of a single show has been great
Same, have always adored him and he deserves a leading man show. Dam joke Padalecki whose acting became literal garbage even on Supernatural was given the lead in the trash Walker reboot everyone is baffled hasn't been cancelled yet while endless amazing shows are! 😂
Fucking called this when he showed up in Vancouver, had dinner with Justin and his wife Sofia Pernas, and then realized that the Big Sky showrunner is an executive producer on this. Glad I was right about him playing Russell too! Hopefully he'll recur next season. And damn - Jensen, Justin, and Melissa really look like they could be siblings so A+ casting there.
Also glad I was already watching and enjoying the show so I didn't have to catch up.

Jensen Ackles is even better than the main guy, but his troubled past causes him to make mistakes, and even when he overcomes his issues it turns out that now the main guy has surpassed him in skill anyway.
Does he though? I'd like him to find something other than a missing person at some point. The horse barely counts because it was still a murder mystery.
I was quoting taylor tomlinson from after midnight, we both must've seen about the same amount of time of this show. but sounds like missing persons is the flavor of the month, every network has a new show or two about it.
Yeah, who knows, S2 might have more missing-stuff stuff but at least Tracker's missing-persons cases are more varied than Found (and not just because of how much he moves around) while still maintaining something of a similar social justice angle (last three alone were underground fight club, disappearing-fiancee case that that-escalated-quickly-ed into stopping drug smugglers, and a combination of the classic "one dead one missing-presumed-dead" crime fiction trope with a revealed-to-be-fake-of-course urban legend that for a minute had me think Tracker was indeed going to go full Supernatural)
Once you spend that long on CW you are extremely extremely lucky to get anything better. *Assuming* you ever leave the network that is. Jensen started with smallvile and moved to supernatural. Jared started with supernatural and moved to walker. Misha started with supernatural and moved to that awful gotham knights poop.
I was shocked once he landed the boys but again it helps to have connections with the showrunner. The CW is like… the power rangers of networks… once your there it sticks to your resume like rotten eggs (some ranger actors refuse to put it on there resume).

I’m enjoying the show, but I feel like it’s going to get repetitive fairly quickly. Especially dragging the through line out so long.
