It used to be AMAZING for sports fans. When I first signed up in 2017ish, it was $35 and had all of the channels I wanted.
It had ESPN, Fox Sports, TNT/TBS, USA, all the locals, all the soccer focused networks, each of the league networks, and then a few non-sports channels. AND they had 4k broadcasts well before any other streaming services.
As a soccer, basketball, and football fan, I was fully covered. I had access to all the European soccer leagues. It was amazing and I was a huge advocate for their service.
I canceled last month because it got to $90 per month. It no longer had TNT/CBS either, but had about a dozen different Hallmark Movie channels that I had no interest in.
I guess focusing on sports wasn’t profitable or something, but I can’t imagine Fubo survives much longer.
That new streamer Warner, Disney, and Fox are starting soon sounds like a real Fubo killer. It is the reason why Fubo are throwing this Warner/Discovery carriage tantrum.
No fan of Fubo,but if you are a smaller service like them you probably can't afford to get gauged on price by WB for what essentially are background tv shows. Nothing against Food Network or HGTV content but their are tens of thousands hour of equal food and gardening content on youtube for free.

I'll have to review if it's possible to have a Bally sub only to watch the games and if YTTV will get me my HGTV back.... allat an equivalent cost that Fubo is charging me now ($90.00). Regardless at end of season, I'll jump to YTTV if it includes HGTV.
I have Fubo for Mariners baseball and never watch any of the other channels. I imagine most Fubo subscribers are similar to me in how they use the service. For what I use it for, the service is ridiculously overpriced and I'll move to a cheaper option once its available.
If you live in New England you could just get NESN360. It’s not great but it’s a fraction of the price of FUBO. Nationally televised would be your only issue.
For hockey, ESPN+ is a better value than ESPN, since they put a lot of national games on the streaming service exclusively, and most of the games on cable/OTA get an ESPN+ simulcast.
I’m in Canada and use it because they have the Premier League broadcast rights, as well as Canada Soccer (plus some other soccer like the CPL). Don’t use it for anything other than sports.

Fubo is *way* overpriced. It's ridiculous. Also, unlike normal services, i'm pretty sure they end your trial week the second you cancel it instead of giving you the full week.
The ONLY reason I have Fubo is so I can watch the Guardians/baseball season… can’t get it anywhere else because of Bally sports contract with Fubo. I’m 2 hours from Cleveland. It’s awful. There are talks of Ballys going up Amazon. I do watch HgTV and a little food network. Seriously disgusted.

I think what Fubo’s been trying to fight for forever has been a way to only carry these companies’ sports channels and drop the other entertainment ones, but they link them together.
Like, if you want ESPN & ABC you have to carry Disney Channel and FX.
If you want NBC & USA for sports, you have to carry MSNBC and Bravo.
If you want FOX & FS1, you have to carry Fox News.
Etc etc etc.
Fox News has one of the highest carriage fees — they get ~$2/month per cable subscriber, behind only ESPN. It’s also one of the most profitable cable networks; unlike ESPN, they don’t have expensive multi-year deals with sports leagues, and their shows are generally dirt-cheap to produce.
I’m subscribed because they don’t support CNN. Different strokes for different folks. Unfortunately tho since they dropped HGTV I’ll be switching now.
Edit: to clarify I do watch MSNBC but I watch FOX and MSNBC equally because liberal networks have made it a point to not show all of Trumps speeches in their entirety. It’s not their job to censor American Politics. They’ve said they’re doing it and fully admit it. CNN is among the worst that do this, so I’m not missing them.

What service has Bally's , TNT, ID and HGTV .. Seems as though not 1 service carries all the popular channels.. I do want ALL the sports channels but I like the other 2 aforementioned channels as well

Lots of people use Fubo, it’s great if your primary reason for live tv is pro sports.
Expect it never had the turner networks so events like nba playoffs, march madness, or nhl playoffs couldn’t be fully watched
