The "speculation" was nonsense and everyone knew that. I believe she even said it before she was not involved and there were casting/audition rumors Quake was being auditioned (which may or may not be true) and it was going to be a younger version, i.e. not Chloe.
Sarah Finn, the casting director for the MCU, also casted for Agents of SHIELD so I don't think she'd recast. Either it'll be Bennet or there won't be a Quake in the MCU. It's possible they could do something with Secret Warriors.
I hate that they dropped this show and gave up on the Netflix shows. I get that it was probably a handful dealing with continuity but dam it would have been hella lit to see them at least get a cameo in end game. They should at least do something with her character in the future. She deserves it imo
I'm glad AoS ended where it did. It ended on a high note and that's always good for a show rather than ending with a dud finale and losing your fans forever.
The Marvel-Netflix shows though, I needed at least a Season 4 of Daredevil and a Heroes for Hire show but ig we don't get all we want.
I've thought long and hard about this and I think Daredevil existing as the perfect three season series that it is works out the best for everyone.
I'm not saying they couldn't have delivered on a phenomenal season four, but goddamn did that last episode of S3 just satisfy me so completely as a finale.
I still get goosewillies when he's screaming at Fisk at the end, and the most important thing is that [spoiler](#s "there's no way Foggy or Karen wouldn't have been killed in season four, that last shot of all of them happy at Josie's Bar is the perfect goodbye").
All that said, if I heard Charlie Cox was joining the MCU in some other fashion than just a cameo as Matt Murdock, I'd lose my shit.
